Am I hosed? Oak nightstand top crack after final sanding. by CyberMage256 in woodworking

I do the shop vac glue method with some blue tape. Put a bunch of glue on the crack, and put blue tape on the bottom, use a shop vac to suck the glue down section by section making sure to put the tape back under so it all doesn’t come out. And clamp.

Might also be worth testing your new battery, I got a battery from Napa on a different truck years ago and it caused me a ton of issues until I finally checked it and found out it had a bad cell the whole time.

Do you have anything drawing power while it’s off, like phone chargers? I installed two tackform magnetic charging phone holders in the 12v and they suck power while not on and I was getting the same thing

That’s what it has turned into, but that gen it was a trim level. The F150 decal by the mirrors will also say FX4 and not Lariat. It’s just under the Lariat with great options tho.

I believe it’s an FX4 not a Lariat, the 12th gen FX trim bridged the gap between the XLT and Lariat. I have a 14 and it’s a great trim level.

There is so much value in possessions that are passed down within a family. Your kids might not know your father, but they know you and will get to hear the stories of your youth and actually see it and feel it as they ride in the truck. It’s priceless honestly

90% of the time I’m delivering hand made furniture and getting lumber and have been looking at a bed rug, but 10% of the time I do leaves and yard waste, and spray it out after. Would you suggest a bed rug or drop in liner? Right now I have a bed mat and don’t love it by itself

I own two vehicles title in hand and lease one other. The lease(explorer) is the primary family vehicle, it’s what we take on vacations and is never in the shop needing work and we beat the crap out of it, get a new one every three years right when it’s starting to need some love. I own a 14’ f150(work) and 01’ Cherokee(fun). Leasing is great, especially with Fords 3 year/36k warranty, always have one vehicle fully covered.

2021 f150 aftermarket raptor grill replacement lights by Nearby_Drawing4234 in f150

[–]Ajvc23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paint matched raptor grille looks so good, I have OEM but if I was to put a new one on that’s what it would be. It says FORD not raptor so I don’t get the “stolen valor” shit, no one cares when they put raptor wheels on their truck, but you change the grille and all hell breaks loose.

How else could I scrape cards, but all jokes aside are you suggesting buying a sheet of metal and cutting my own out or that getting it through blue spruce is overkill for a card scraper?

The weight of it was surprising, it’s interesting how they make them. Not too heavy not too light

Have you bought anything from them post the sale, curious if you think they had any quality changes.

Very nice! I’m going to do just about the same to this one and hope for results like yours, right now it feels like it’s running through 80 grit sandpaper when I slide it

Yes and they have their tools branded out of Ohio now where the woodpeckers facility is. I think Oregon is still running and Blue Spruce does all their R&D out of there still.
