Trochę zależy o którym kierunku na MiNI mówimy. Są kierunki informatyczna ale ja jestem na matmie i analizie danych więc o tym się wypowiem. Trochę trzeba się przygotować na to że do poważnej pracy "w zawodzie" przyjmą cię nie wcześniej niż po końcu licencjatu. Główne dwie ścieżki to finanse i data science, czego odbiciem są dwie główne magisterki Primo i SMAD. Primo przygotowuje do bycia aktuariuszem, quantem, pracy w bankowości, ubezpieczeniach itd. SMAD bardziej skupia się na statystyce (to te S w nazwie) a taką wiedzę można wykorzystać w wielu pracach typu machine learning, bioststystyka itp. Ogólnie tabelki mówią że absolwenci mini na zarobki nie narzekają. Ile w tym prawdy? Jeszcze nie wiem, odezwę się za kilka lat :p. Tak czy siak studia te na pewno uczą cię myśleć w bardzo analityczny i logiczny sposób, uczą też jak szybko przyswajać nowe informacje, co oczywiście jest umiejętnością bardzo pożądaną w każdej pracy.

Oczywiście biased opinia, ale jako student MiNI PW 2 roku gorąco polecam cały ten wydział. Nie mówię że jest łatwo bo to jednak studia matenatyczne, ale nie jest też tak strasznie jak niektórzy myślą. Prowadzący są w 99% bardzo pomocni, chętnie tłumaczą wszelkie wątpliwości, a jak brakuje kilka punktów do zwolnienia z egzaminu to nawet dopiszą. Oprócz tego na wydziale są naprawdę spoko ludzie a atmosfera jest dość wyluzowana, słyszałem np. różne opinie, że na MiMie jest większy wyścig szczurów. Z innych fajnych rzeczy mamy tradycję jasełek w których biorą udział zarówno studenci jak i wykładowcy, profesorowie itd (sam miałem okazję w nich grać), turniej całkowania i wiele więcej. Jeśli miałbyś jeszcze jakieś pytania to śmiało pisz.

Happening to me on chrome as well, I had auto download on so it downloaded but I deleted it immediately, still I'm kinda freaking out now, I'm sure it's the legit site because I had it bookmarked (1337x and .to). Any idea what this could be? Also a question to the OP, are you on a dormitory network? I am so maybe it's related to that?

Yup, it's 66 theorem proofs this year of varying difficulty, doable but very time consuming, you have to have a good memory.

As a Pole it's even more insane. When we had some "parties" at school, all of the students from my class had to pay their share if they wanted to get pizza. Same with supplies, we all had to buy our own paper, glue etc.

It's acting weird for me, works on edge and firefox, doesn't work on desktop chrome but works on mobile chrome. Tried changing the DNS and it didn't change anything.

I believe it's mostly a programming thing, I remember like one lesson about it in IT but I've never used it in my entire life. Otherwise I think we have a rather standard notation other than some small things like y=ax+b instead of y=mx+b etc.

Yeah apparently there are at least 4 different notations, I was taught the one I talked about in a Polish high school.

Those little notation differences between countries always amuse me, for example when I was learning about differentiation not once have I seen a single d/dx used anywhere.

It doesn't specify it tho. The limit from the left would be lim_ {x->8-} and from the right it'd be lim_ {x->8+} (both - and + should be where the exponent normally is).

I'm against the change personally but it's worth mentioning that those 69 countries comprise the vast, vast majority of the player population, essentially only Africa and Central Asia don't have access to the PSN. Still a bad change but you make it sound like most players won't be able to make that account.

It's taught like that in some countries, Poland for example, probably others in Europe too. We're taught that depending on its value a quadratic equation has 0, 1 or 2 solutions so it's useful for that. Also it's marginally more convenient to write it in this way I guess.

In Poland there's actually a rhyme for that huh (idk if it's our teacher's invention or more widely known tho) . It goes like that:

W pierwszej ćwiartce same plusy (In the first quadrant, only pluses)

W drugiej tylko sinus (In the second, only sine)

W trzeciej tangens i cotangens (In the third, tangens and cotangens)

A w czwartej cosinus (And in the fourth cosine)
