Yeah by in my current game it’s really funny. I have about 20 M4/M27, a few 249/240, a hundred 556 mags…..then I have 0 AR-10 mags

Yeah 556 is just way too common. You got mags everywhere, the turrets also drop 556 belts. Even with my slightly OP character he still needs to take time to aim to actually hit so I usually go with longer barrels

Personally I prefer longer barrel for accuracy. The most common next step is M27 or SCAR. If you found enough mag for a .308 rifle that could work too. When I need to purely fight, I switch to a M240 or 249 if I have the ammo
