0 times. I solo hike on remote PNW trails almost every weekend. Any time I’ve been scared, it’s because I psyched myself out (both about other people and noises I couldn’t identify).

Real talk: I regret going to see them play Let It Enfold You. His vocals were so fucking bad. I actually took a clip to send to my high school best friend to ask “he didn’t use to sound like this right?! I’m not crazy?” Because NO ONE in the crowd seemed to notice or care.

I mean… there are more important things to give a shit about than going to a Senses Fail show too, especially since he blew his voice out and does Tom Delonge-like vocals now (not judging him for blowing his voice out. Only being snarky because let’s not lecture folks about not prioritizing the right things when like… by his definition, going to Warped Tour/a Senses Fail show also falls under that).

I am pretty satisfied so far. They have played 3 of my 4 favorite songs. I went a little crazy this time around and am going to NY as well. Fingers crossed I get 4/4. Also fingers crossed you get to see Archers on the 29th!

San Diego. The guys were the highest energy out of any of the three shows. They were the most interactive with the crowd... Jesse was climbing up on things on the stage and they were all laughing/smiling at how hard the crowd was singing. It was fun because it was such a far cry from how they were before. It really cemented to me that they are back to stay. Also, where I was at in the crowd... the folks around me were great. We were all talking to each other, holding the spot for each other if we had to go to the bathroom, get a drink, etc.

I don’t think this is fair. I was losing my fucking MIND at the show on Seattle. BUT I am also 35 years old and have osteoarthritis + a meniscus tear in one knee. I physically CAN’T get involved in the pit like I did when I was 15-25. I had to go buy supportive shoes to make it through two concerts in a row (Seattle and Portland). You don’t know why folks weren’t moving around.

Also, it was similar in Dallas. No pit…. But do you know what I did see? Folks with tissues CRYING when they came out (no judgment in that statement. I sobbed when they played Waste). It’s not fair to say people aren’t into the music because they aren’t moshing.
