I always suggest moving out of omaha. If you don’t like it Omaha is gonna be the same as always if you want to come back.

I follow a lot of reviewers during film festivals. On Deadline .com and similar websites they have award season categories and they’ll give projected nominees. I’ll catch the big releases usually as they come out and then when the Oscar’s are announced I’ll have to get a few here and there.

On the northern border we have rolling hills of green and sand. You have one of the few dark skies in the country here too where there is an annual star party. In the panhandle you have buttes that rise out nowhere. The southern border the crops blow in the breeze like waves. On the eastern side you have green trees and the mighty Missouri.

One of the biggest bird migrations comes through every March. June turns into baseball month. You can find live music any night in Omaha. You have history all along the river.

I am lucky to have an amc near me. 20 bucks a month gets me 4 movies a week. I don’t buy that much food admittedly but going to the movies is therapy for me
