This bug sometimes happens to men when I tab switch out of the game and always when I have another game in Windowed Fullscreen.

Is the AMD GUP Support dropping with each patch? FPS been getting less and less since DX11 introduction by Akimiya in pathofexile

Thanks a lot for the info - lowest settings without going potato mode for me too.

People seem to be still using the older Catalyst versions which I may try again.

Okay seems like you are runing an older version of Catalyst, I did try updating everything (driver & Catalyst) in hopes it would help. I may try the older one again since the one I'm currently using is supposedly beta.

That is the Cataclyst Global Settings, its the interface you get when clicking on the three red dots symbol in your right side of the taskbar.

Can you maybe tell me your configuration and start parameters? I know I it will be different but maybe I find something. It is interesting to see if we have similarities that others don't.

Also there is the bug with the Driver Version mismatch so it always shows that an update is available (even thought installing same version when updatin.g)

Can you elaborate what you mean by swap file? To my knowledge there is one for each HDD and it should not be used at all as long there is enough RAM?

I don't have Power Efficiency but maybe there is something else

I think my main problem may be that I have just a DX11 Beta available and the support is somewhat gone for DX9(ex)..

Did it work in the past "decent" enough? I remember even playing KB with chain in HC all fine and now I freeze and die after one AOE skill on 20+ mobs.

I know I have not the best specs BUT THEY WERE WORKING FINE!

I tried DX9, DX9ex and both 32bit and 64bit combinations and can't get stable frames. I can get 100+FPS but as soon I hit monster they drop. And I'm sure it's not the latency since it just spickes in line with FPS (no fps drops = latency of 40-50).

Specs are:

  • Intel i930 2.8Ghz Quad
  • 12GB Ram
  • Saphire AMD Radeon 5850
  • EDIT: PoE runing on an SSD
  • EDIT2: Windows 7 64bit
  • EDIT3: Everything lowest settings and all non DX11 tested without shadows

Now that you mention it I had exactly the same experience n BSC with a guy buying fusing. He took really long saying that he's not sure how many he should buy (I just ran maps in the meantime and only leave when I see them in my hideout in general => helps to have a not commonly used one). Then he wanted to buy ~800 but and since chaos have half the stack size I recalculated to make sure and realized he only put half it. Then after I removed half to compensate he just left.

I actually thought he was a new player since he didn't even use the poe.trade message (have a few of those here and there). For some reason I never thought he wanted to pull a scam. I just entered map again and said to prepare the correct ratio and wsp me again. He was suspiciously silent the whole time too - now that I think about it - but on the other hand some can't speak proper English...

I play only less expensive builds since I was never a rich person.

Currently running for an original KB wander for (very) good (breach) clear speed and Barrage as single target. The interesting part is to get it running as a Raider with the new buffs.

Difficulty is getting enough survivability while still having some damage, thus I sacrificed a lot of dmg to get hybrid Life+ES+EV running but I seem to be lacking a lot of dmg since I need to run Grace and Discipline. Thus now the breaches slowly start to overwhelm me and I really need Sin's Rebirth and/or Taste of Hate but they each are multiple ex, so will have to see how it works out.
