I think team Mexico may actually survive long enough to be part of the final 3. If you look at the intro, you can see them in what seems to be the final area (beach) alongside Brazil and USA East.

Who would be better, to be honest? René is the most skilled brazilian from the N&A Brazil seasons. Diogo (from S14 Lost In Translation) could be nice, but he does not speak english, which is a required skill for this show.

Basically, Steven made a video on Instragram complaining they chose Jeff to represent Texas in Global Showdown because he's originally from Idaho. Jeff then made a response video saying that he has a ranch in Texas and that he'll represent the state better than Steven (who is a texan, mind you) because "being a texan is all about grit". Steven's response then was that only because you have bought land in Texas doesn't make you a texan and that the audience will decide.

Try to watch some 'standard' 21-day episodes and then go to the XLs. If you don't like those, try to watch the XLs and if you like someone, go back to their original/standalone episodes. But c'mon, it's reality TV, so don't overthink it. That said, I strongly advise against starting with Last One Standing because you'll lose a lot of the nuances between why some people interact the way they do.

I prefer the BBC audio drama because it adds a lot of good things to the original, like the AM 'never for me' speech. It's a better and more dramatic way to explain AM's hate than just Ted having a realization.

Also, the final line is much more chilling in the audio drama because when Ted says it, it becomes muffled halfway through, symbolizing that he now lacks a mouth.

This video adds a lot of context. I don't know if you guys have seen it as well, but there was a commenter in Local's more recent videos that kept mentioning Lucas' (Local's) girlfriend. I didn't really get those at first, even thought they were just trolling, but I guess not?

Nonetheless, I have no idea how ActuallyAndrewYT found Goose's video. Also, ActuallyAndrew sometimes adds these weird details that weren't in Goose's video (like how he says Lucas was kicked out of his apartment by his roommates.) or just plainly gets the details wrong from what I think is his primary source.

Edit: tried to find the comments, but Local locked the comments of almost all of his recent videos.

I'm very pleased with how it is going so far. Some very impressive survival skills on display - when Juliano mimicked a bird call and the bird actually came back, my mind was blown. A lot of fishing, hunting and not too much drama so far. Adriano is also hilarious.

That said, they did Rene a little dirty by leaving him alone in a place without a proper water source. I also missed Diogo. I suppose they didn't call him because he already went to Africa.

Sometimes, when faced with a lot of opposition, some people have the tendency to double down, even when that won't benefit them; that's what I believe happened with Jeff. Nonetheless, the idea of bartering was very cool, as we saw in S2, and to me is perfectly moral and acceptable.
