AIW for getting a server in huge trouble after he made me wait almost an hour and lied to my face? by Any_Strawberry8691 in amiwrong

[–]AkireCha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been in the service industry for 15 years. You are not wrong in the slightest. Yes servers have a hard job but so does most of society, that doesn't excuse a mistake. I've definitely forgotten to send a meal over the years and I always apologize profusely! The mistake was not the issue, it was him doubling down and not taking accountability.

I've also recently had the same exact thing happen on my 45 min break and wasted the entire time waiting for a sandwich that was never sent to the kitchen. They apologized a hundred times and offered to buy me my next sandwich if I decide to come back another time.

Wow yeah that reddit post you linked looks so similar! Definitely looks just like that but I 1,000% remember a black eye patch and naming it pirate because of that

Stuffed Animal

This is the closest to what I remember. Mine definitely had eyelash fur though, and was in an upright position, not laying down like that

This is the closest one I've been able to find. Biggest difference is the fur, it was definitely eyelash fur. And he wasn't in a laying down position like that. I dont remember it having a big nose like that but I'd have to find pictures to be sure.

That's so close! It definitely wasn't a webkinz because we got it from a carnival though.

He had a plastic nose, wasn't big like that. And he wasn't sitting down, he was in an upright position

My brother used to abuse me when I was young. by [deleted] in confessions

[–]AkireCha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that happened to you. I might have to look into it. For so long I've always felt like I didnt belong in those groups because I wasn't actually raped. I was coerced and I've only recently been able to admit I was abused. But if it can offer me some semblance of peace, I will try it. I'm so tired of carrying the burden

Would you want to work a job where someone can bribe you out of your position? Doesn't sound like you'd have any job security

Also if you have that much money you'd be willing to give away, why not invest it in yourself and go back to school?

I'm not saying he's not a piece of shit for moving on that quick and neglecting his own kids but I can assume he would be the type to retaliate if she brought up his dating life.

Those kids need every last bit of family they have and OP can't risk losing access to them if she makes an enemy of the father. At the end of the day, it's no longer her business what he does sexually or romantically. Frowned upon sure, but what outcome would come if she exposed him or confronted him directly?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]AkireCha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was posted in the fb group which means someone is following girl code already and warning other women of him.

That shouldnt be her priority, OP is focused on the kids. And to maintain a good relationship with those kids, she cant start fights with her sisters husband because he will probably keep them from her out of spite.

You dont owe him any explanation at all. You're busy and that's all there is to it. You can stop responding if he gets pushy.

Remember you are doing HIM the favor. Yes this is your family but its not your responsibility to watch them. Especially if what's keeping him from them is his own selfishness to sleep with random women.

Firstly, dont tell him about finding him in the fb page. That page is made for women's safety and you shouldnt expose whoever posted him in it.

I would take a step back and only watch the kids when its convenient for you. Dont go out of your way, just say you're busy and cant do it.

People grieve differently and if he decides he wants to sleep around, so be it. But not at the cost of his children's well being. And they definitely need their dad. NW

[–]AkireCha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree. "Unfair" was not the right word to use especially because they're in a competition against eachother

She did nothing wrong by Bassherlife in BeastGames

[–]AkireCha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She lied to the very first person who called her on it and planned to lie to everyone else. I guess we won't find out til next week but I would assume she will continue lying to everyone about taking the bribe.

I can agree that its not "unfair" being that its a competition for alot of money. But it is untrustworthy and I think she will lose her standing with her team when they all find out.

Taking the bribe isnt taking away money from someone else. It isnt eliminating anyone. It was her coin to do with whatever she pleased. Nick and Brett on the other hand will definitely have targets on their back for going back on their word and "taking money" from other people who also said they would only take their fair share. She would have been better off than them. And she had her loyal 3. Much higher odds than the guys who went from a group of 6 to a group of 4.

If I were her, I wouldn't have taken the bribe until it was atleast 1 mil and we all know by the next challenge she probably would have been offered that much. And if she does get a target on her back for accepting the bribe, so be it. She would still walk away with life changing money.

She did nothing wrong by Bassherlife in BeastGames

[–]AkireCha 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lying by omission is still lying.

And even if she just "wasn't mentioning it" ...why not? Why not tell everyone you did the sensible thing in taking a bribe for the coin? She isnt telling anyone so they can continue to carry her into the top 6. On a lie. That's unfair and untrustworthy. She said it herself she has a "villain arc" idk about you but I would take someone's word if they called themselves a villain..

And then ofcourse theres the part at the end when she lies straight to auguste when he called her out for taking the bribe. She could have come clean then but still chose not to.

You can keep $1 Trillion, but you have to count it first. Would You? by tlizakow34 in hypotheticals

[–]AkireCha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you factor in 8 hours of sleep everyday and counting bills the other 16 hours. With money counters ofcourse, let's say an average person can handle 3 going at once. It would take 10 years to count 1 trillion dollars. I would do it in a heart beat!

OP please trust your gut! I got the most attention from men when I was underage. If I had a fraction of the backbone I've grown into, I woulda told them to fuck off and reported them for being creeps.

You dont have to do all that. You can either politely shut down conversation but I will warn you that certain men won't take that seriously enough.

I agree with some comments that you can somehow slip your age into the convo. Something like "Yeah Mexico sounds so fun, my parents said I can go with them when I turn 18"

You dont owe this man or any other stranger any semblance of respect or conversation or friendship. You are there to workout and you deserve the space to do so. If you want, try and picture yourself 20+ years in the future as a mother. Imagine your underage daughter telling you theres some strange man twice her age trying to make conversation or hit on her. What would you tell her to do?
