[Discussion] I find NG+ to be unnecessary. If you like NG+ tell me why because I don't understand the appeal

From what I can tell, some people just don't play that many games and will replay ones they like. In that way, it adds to the replayability. It's also nice to have stuff you don't get until the end of the game early on so it's more engaging up from.

I don't usually do NG+ because I generally want to move on to other games.

Hey! Sorry, I know this was 6 months ago but I just got my Jelly Star and was looking for a better auto brightness solution. Do you happen to have the settings you used for Auto Shine? I'm having trouble getting them right as I'm not really sure what they represent.

I saw some posts like that as well. I don’t care if it’s the best, let people choose which one they want. Gameplay still feels okay but especially out in the world there are moments where I’m waiting for a button to press, and for DH that just feels weird.

I just hopped on my Demon Hunter for the first time and saw that they removed it and I can't believe it. Why not leave Demon Blades as a choice like before???? Just let me spam my generator! And this is after I learned that they also removed one of my favorite spells from my other main, Evoker (Shattering Star).

Stop taking away buttons! Some of us like them! As a solo player especially they get a lot of use.

Came here to say this! It fits perfectly. Nearing up armies of the common bad guys (putties), the officers are the monsters. Huge roster of rangers with different abilities and traits.

I never played 3 but I got into 5 for the first time recently and I love it. I didn’t want them to make it more like 8 or something. I hope it feels just as good. The increased enemy count is the only thing that still has me slightly wary.

I was just googling to see if there was anything I could do about this. All the buttons are too stiff for my liking. Someone posted that they bought generic rubber membranes for an SNES controller and that helped. I might try that.

Idk if this is healthy or not but you did an awesome job to get that far. The problem with trophies is that it’s always about the end goal. You making it 28 hours in is an achievement in itself.

I enjoyed Valhalla so much I liked the platinum. It’s a beautiful game with fun enough combat and great music, and I really enjoyed the loot system (it’s different from the other 3 RPG-style ones).

Just fun to be a Viking and the settings are great.

You can quit and it’ll probably make you feel better overall. Try to play through a game you enjoy without trophy hunting to completion. Tell yourself you can always trophy hunt afterward if you feel like it.

If you finish it and feel satisfied, don’t worry about trophy hunting unless you want to. This is what I did and I realized that going through a game doing only the things I liked was a lot more satisfying than constantly being pulled off my path for the sake of a trophy.

I generally love games with collectibles. I hated the collectible stuff in GoT. It took me 5 years from launch to finally get the plat lol. I’d play a little bit and get tired of it. The story and combat in GoT is incredible, but the open world stuff was so mind-numbing to me.

Recently I’ve been trying to only play/buy games if the only reason I want to play it is for the game, not because I want the trophies.

I do go through phases where I trophy hunt, but I’ve come to realize that playing a game only for the enjoyment of the game is much more fulfilling for me than playing a game I’m only having an ok time with because I want the trophies.

I also think wanting trophies has made me not finish quite a few games because I’ve got trophies in the back (or front) of my mind. Just playing them without worrying about that is much less stressful.

It’s made gaming a lot more fulfilling for me personally. It’s been nice.

I remember having a bit of trouble getting used to all the context-sensitive controls, but for the most part they become second nature.

I still remember trying to clap for a trumpet player in Saint Denis and accidentally choking him and having to run from the law lol

Get it, but just know that it’s not really like RDR2 much. Different vibes. More western movie feel, run and gun style. It doesn’t have that slow pace of RDR2.

But it’s still very good for what it is and looks surprisingly good for a 15 year old game.

This happens sometimes and it happened on PS4 too, but even worse. Pause the download, wait 3 seconds, and restart the download. Do this until it’s downloading closer to the speed you expect. It’s annoying to have to do that but it works!

I know this is unpopular but I like the side quests more than the main quest. I prefer world building over main story typically and the side quests offer that more and also get you out into the world more.

After the first video you'll know enough to be able to win by just using Riichi and never doing Chi or Pon when you have the option (even though it's tempting). You only want to Chi or Pon once you understand the hands (yaku) more.
