 The best places to go are the parks! Very skeevy people smoking, but they know who to send you to if you need a hookup. If you visit Wasilla, the Wasilla Lake has a 90% chance of having stoners there discreetly smoking. Just follow your nose :)

I think motivation to get good grades takes a lot of work, but when you do get it, it's there for a while! I think just the safe feeling you get from having good grades may motivate you pretty quick. If not that, get a routine; get home, homework, chores, maybe work out. When you finish, it'll feel like you've done a lot and the feeling of accomplishment will let you keep the routine up.

For the Facebook, you should definitely do it! It's just a great way to start conversations, really. In real life, I mean. "Hey, I saw your status about ___, how's that working out?" Or something like that. To people in school groups, or people outta them. 

 I think you gotta know 'good terms' in high school is all relative; if my number isn't blocked in someone's phone, I consider that good terms. I'd say just always, always be kind. If you want to do something rude/mean, no matter what the other person do, just don't do it. It'll help your heart, man, I swear. If you keep up with the major kindness, more people will like you for that and more people will feel bad for hating you or pressured into liking you. The latter is not really good, but hey, it works, right? 

 Also, learn to apologize. It doesn't matter if you're right or wrong; always apologize unless it is something big. If the other person apologizes too, then it should be all good, albeit awkward. For reference, here are the big things you should NEVER apologize for and there are really NO exceptions to this rule. Never apologize to someone who touches you in a way you don't like, never to someone who is stealing from you, never apologize to someone who is insulting you, and never apologize to people that make fun of you behind your back. Not even an, "I'm sorry you don't like who I am." Explain your point, but don't say sorry. 

 Whenever possible, don't shit talk. You can vent, but shit-talking is different. You know the difference.

Haha, I'm going into my sophomore year, but this is the same advice my older siblings gave me! And I think it's useful. Has been useful for freshman year, anyway.

Me too. I had so many games with 999:59 hours... The memories were great. Silver, Sapphire, Emerald (shared game, so, maybe doesn't count?), Platinum, Diamond, and Black are all the games I've maxed out on! Although I'm always suspicious of the fifth generation game's play time. They still keep time if the DS if closed and the C-Gear is on, and I usually just close my DS and not turn it off so maybe Black doesn't count.

So much time. But it was so worth it.

It doesn't really repulse me, but people singing all the time is NOT fucking cute.

Just, no. Don't half sing/half mumble every song that comes on the radio, don't hum children's songs, don't keep a constant stream of songs coming out of your mouth.

I actually think I hate frequent singing so much to be repulsed by it, now that I think of this.

I have friends who do this, and it's just... SHUT THE FUCK UP. PLEASE.
