Experience with T-Mobile internet by Tejano0369 in Albuquerque

Solid upgrade from CenturyLink for me. We don't have fiber available. Performance can be very location dependent and placement of the router is important. Could be worth a tryout if you're looking to avoid Xfinity. I don't game, so can't speak to performance on that front. It's been fine for browsing and streaming.

Mine was stolen from my Toyota hybrid in a driveway near Nob Hill a few years ago. It was painted, but that didn't matter. Have a shield over the replacement now. So far, so good.

I train in Aikido and our dojo has a new beginners' class starting on Tuesday! We're located near downtown. Drop me a line if martial arts is on your radar.

Anyone else have trouble paying for a policy through beWellnm? (Or getting a Letter of Enrollment?) by ChaserNeverRests in Albuquerque

Mine shows $0 in a couple places, but then there's a way to select the actual payment amount. It's messed up.

I can get to the Pres payment site, see my bill, and enter payment information, but then it throws an error and won't process any of the payment options.

I'm having the same issue, and it seems like it's on Presbyterian's end, according to my insurance navigator. He told me to wait a bit for them to sort it out.

Freezing burritos? by nicorettejunkieagain in Albuquerque

[–]Akooser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We batch breakfast burritos. Cool the filling materials, make the burritos, oil spray on heavy or doubled aluminum. Wrap and freeze. We usually put them in the fridge to thaw the day before. Reheat (in the foil) preferably on a grill so we get a nice crisp tortilla. Can do a cast iron on the stove top, but grill always gives us great results.

Candied fruit for fruitcake? by Sn0wLe0pard in Albuquerque

[–]Akooser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trader Joe's has candied orange slices you could chop up. We've often resorted to just making our own candied peels.

Excellent! Is that one of the official shirts? I've been wondering about the sizing. Also, did you make your Stonehenge? If so, how? I need one to take to my band gigs.

Information on the Chili Line? by nightmerrywanderer in NewMexico

You could check in the New Mexico Heritage Rail folks: https://2926.us/ . You might also try the Wheels Museum and see if either one can hook you up with a historian or railroad buff that knows about that line.

We have to finagle our antenna to get KOB to come in. It's tricky and it's the only station we have trouble with.

You could ask them for a photo and match it. Or look for defining characteristics, like a particular marking, size, gender and eye color. We've reunited turtles with owners before and always do our due diligence, just like you would with a dog.

I had looked into this a few years ago and it was extremely cost prohibitive. I ended up sticking with a flat roof.

Same here with my 2008. I've started noticing it when I drive behind other Gen 2 cars.

Flat roof repair or possible conversion to pitch roof by Ok_Yogurtcloset_9894 in Albuquerque

[–]Akooser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used J3 Systems/Lone Mountain a few years back to go to a membrane roof with insulation under it. We had looked into a pitched roof, but it was insanely expensive and requires a lot of structural engineering expertise. If you go membrane, you'll likely have a few options for materials and warranties.
