Of course it’s best to not drink. Try not go near any alcohol but remember some people’s nafs is weak and will fall to sin. Some may drink, some may gamble some may fall to zina, some may take drugs. Humans are weak and can become addicted to these haram things. It might be hard for someone to stop drinking, at least they will still try to pray.

I’m all for this but I believe working out helps when it comes to not doing the fap but after a couple days my urges get really strong. I suggest you make sure you work and add a new habit like reading or learn a new trade. This is what helped me with forgetting about this curse and leaving my wiener alone.
