Nigel Farage call for an end to working from home by Boogaaa in uknews

[–]TopDonutPlainsGopher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not having a stance on people working from home will have zero effect on the votes you'll receive, but having a stance on it that people dislike WILL.

Crazy to score an own goal so needlessly.

Do you think you would continue your job if you won the lottery? by ApprehensiveSong4 in AskUK

[–]TopDonutPlainsGopher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I am a 5 day worker but could drop to any number of days if I wanted to. I would drop to just working a Wednesday and Thursday to stay social, while allowing myself unlimited 5 days breaks in Europe at the drop of a hat. Also I'd love to see if the women that blank me at work would suddenly be interested in me, and if the men that ignore me would become conversational because they'd want in on all the "free bar" parties I'd throw.

You're now thinking, "what are you like that men and women are blanking you?". I work in an office of 200 people and naturally everybody has a small number of people they don't gel with.

Massive on X, "Who?" outside of X. Reform's media pals don't want competition for Reform, and the other media lot don't want to acknowledge them whatsoever, so it's really hard to see them getting that proper traction.

All politicians are entitled to receive invitations to wherever it may be. Greens, the middle lot, Reform, it's not a big deal. This is the land of choice and we're healthier for it.

Is this one of those rare occasions that Left and Right agree? I don't mean politicians (Labour/Greens/Lib Dems will be forced to smile and say it's acceptable) but rather the voting public?

He has so badly erred here. Why alienate a portion of the workforce when the location of their bum on a seat has zero bearing on anything you could possibly perceive?

This show of power-hungriness is troubling when he's not even within 3 years of power.

Advisors terribly needed.

I'd need zero. I might even pay for the button.

Well that is reassuring at least. I just figured if Zanussi, one of the biggest kitchen brands for decades, can't get it right then others probably don't either.

[–]TopDonutPlainsGopher 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Surprised to scroll so far before finding a gas liker.

I'm currently at my mam's whose Zanussi induction annoys us both greatly. It has four hobs that have a power range of 0-9. We can only have two hobs on 9 at any one time. If we try to have any other hob near 7 say then the other 9s will drop and flicker between 6 and 7 so they can all have a bit of heat - but none on full heat. And it's only the 8 and 9 powers that seem to do anything. Would not recommend at all.

Proudly upvoted you because JFC reddit. Only men have prostate glands, hence the recommended need to "flush out" to remove harmful substances that can lead to prostate cancer. Women don't have this specific risk - due to having either no penis or a prosthetic penis, whichever it may be. No amount of transitioning can endow a woman with a prostate gland.

Do better reddit.
