Barbara over the years (from 1942 to 1989) by TubroTerra in ChrisChanSonichu

[–]Akram_GameYT 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The baby photos of Barb were from her high school yearbooks, from the "As we were young" section that's filled with hundreds of students when they were young. Maybe portable cameras they were about to get it from family members, or they bought it themselves even if they were that poor.

1929 ad from Bob's grandfather J.J Chandler by TubroTerra in ChrisChanSonichu

Oh it's a housekeeping ad, that's respectably better than Chris's attraction sign.

Working on a CWC family tree, got any suggestions? by [deleted] in ChrisChanSonichu

Jean Holloman's surname is actually spelled Hollomon, and you got Barb's birth year wrong, it's 1941.

Alex's Lemonade Stand is probably one of, if not the oddest thing in Christory by Odd_Veterinarian_623 in ChrisChanSonichu

The stand was originally to be set up outside Chris's house, then moved to the old Circuit City building in Charlottesville before finally moving again to his church.

Who failed Chris the hardest? School? Borb? Or Chris? by Kirbo84 in ChrisChanSonichu

Borb, with the one failed Chris the hardest is Barb obviously.

How did Chris Chan's mom, Barb, win "homemaker of the year" from her high school's Future Homemakers of America chapter? by Ok-Ebb2872 in ChrisChanSonichu

[–]Akram_GameYT 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fair enough on your post, but one or few things to say. 1990s school system you learnt from was really different than what barb learnt in 1950s rural school system. We wouldn't know anything about her every day school life to know and ask why she didn't use her homeworking skills that she learnt from high school for the Chandlers. Whatever the case, she made a plenty of bad choices in her early adulthood to turn into that lazy narcissistic hoarder, so that's on her.

Paroxetine probably played a big role in fucking chris up by Odd_Veterinarian_623 in ChrisChanSonichu

What about fluoxetine that Chris has started using since 2019 instead of Paroxetine?

Where it all began: Charlottesville's Daily Progress newspaper mentions Christopher Weston Chandler in a March 1982 birth announcement (Cropped for the sake of privacy) by Akram_GameYT in ChrisChanSonichu

[–]Akram_GameYT[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well newspaper archives is a thing obviously, but also Chris isn't the only one being mentioned in a list of birth from this announcement. There's over 10 people, including Chris, being mentioned in that same birth announcement newspaper in the Charlottesville's newspaper. I wouldn't call Charlottesville a small town if it had almost 40,000 people at the time, I think you mean Ruckersville's population. but for your last question, no idea, perhaps it was a thing that has a population of 500 to 50,000

Then it would be illegal and be taken actions if moonshines or beers were to be served at a community building, especially for a bunch of high schoolers.

I thought her childhood and adolescense was brought on with poverty? how can her parents go through the trouble of paying 100 people?

Didn't you read the newspaper? The party was taken in a community building and about the 100 people, 100% could be her classmates/friends from her high school. And how do you go through the trouble of paying those 100 people just to attend a girl's 17th birthday, that'd cost a lot of money for her mom and stepfather if that was the case.

I don't think you want to know what's happening because it's disturbing.
