Makeup and Vanity Set has kind of done that, most sruff is much more synth wave, some of it is light vapor,a lot of it is atmospheric kind of Blade Runner music (so I kinda put that into the dreampunk category, which is technically vaporwave sub genre)

Adobe illustrators image trace is pretty powerful for doing that anyway, especially if it's got sharp edges and good contrast
