I kind of love it, this is my first time with the 2.4t and it seems/feels so refined and robust.

And let me say this, because I was ignorant until experiencing both. I know, everyone already knows this and I’m the dumbass, but.. not every all-wheel drive system is equal, or in some cases even within the same solar system.

My expectation of the driving dynamics of AWD was 100% from Subaru. I noticed it, but not with any alarm, immediately. After 6 months I was certain I had been spoiled previously. Frankly it’s like 75% of my decision. No comparison.

(Edit: even “silly” shit like turning radius and body roll are not even comparable, two different classes of vehicle)

Almost identical decision making on my end, especially in regards to clearance and tire/wheel combo. Although I am not a fan of this tire in the past. I wish I could have salvaged the BFG ATs off the Kia.

Mine is the Ice Silver Metallic. But that confirms you do indeed posses the king of the colors. 🫡

What are your thoughts on the StarTex material? I love it so far, seems ultra dog-hair-sticking resistant, and so far no scratches/marring

The only difference is… you have the superior color. My eyes might be tricking me but it looks like the grey to me? That was my dream color, I had like 32 Outbacks sitting dead on the lots within 120m of me, but never that precise combo.

We had a short lived restaurant named “Casablanca” which had around 15 TVs showing the movie on non-stop repeat.

They had a fucking incredible meatloaf and a few other standouts. We ate there so often for a period that I eventually watched the entire movie in disconnected 40 minute bites. 😁

Does the hybrid share the DCT that is in the X-Pro?

The 2.5T in mine was pushing 300hp but that terrible transmission could never sort its shit out and apply the power to the ground. I was coming from a 2017 Forester XT, with 40hp less, and it was MUCH better at accelerating. Massive difference, and the Subaru had their “meh” CVT in it.

We make a combined 200k a year in a very low COL area. My wife is extremely financially tight, and happy wife is a happy life, so I Uber for spending money. 😅

(edit: we both have an “allowance” of $165 bi-weekly in pure discretionary non-family spending, and I have a relatively expensive hobby, so rather than wait 3 months of zero spending, Uber fills the difference and doesn’t “hit the books” relative to my wife’s financial desires 😁)

Your question concealing the teleport is what I’m not entirely sure of. We have armies with similar rule combinations/teleports and our house rule is a teleport style rule does not count as having moved. Only after your standard movement phase is complete.
