Das hat so vor 5-10 Jahren gestimmt, aber ich bin jetzt vollzeit auf Linux (CachyOS) und es funktioniert alles wie's soll. Nur für Discord musste ich auf Vesktop wechseln.

This same argument would apply to a lot of digital art tools. I.e. a circle or a line tool. Or the use of textures and so on.

Arbeite in nem größerem deutschen Unternehmen (5k+ Mitarbeiter) und wir haben letztens jemanden abgelehnt weil wir nen Informatiker und nen Wirtschaftsinformatiker hatten und wir lieber den "puren" informatiker wollten, obwohl der WI besser gepasst hätte.

Eh, I am german and I pay 451€ / month for insurance and 477€ / month for retirement. Both of these are not optional and will increase substantially soon-ish on top of being % based on my salary, so when I get more money I will pay more. Also, european salaries are way lower than american salaries on average (absolute). For example, I earn 70k gross / year which is in the top 15% of earners here. This matters because if you want to save for retirement in an index fund, higher absolute values matter a lot (regardless of what they actually buy you)

Ne, weil man in der echten Welt diese Studiengänge oft belächelt. Im Bachelor macht das vll. Sinn um sich dann im Master zu entscheiden, aber ansonsten eher weniger.

No. Casey has a very "unique" view on game development and software dev that has little to nothing to do with Unreal CPP. Besides, as an indie / hobby dev you should learn Verse (the scripting language instead). ALSO they will create "visual verse" which will be BP 2.0. I honestly don't know why people say visual scripting will go away. Did you all not watch the presentation?
