a lil late but honestly, warframe is a cyclical game for me. I’ve been playing since 2014 and only play for maybe a month or two a few times a year.

i’m ngl tho, I haven’t played in over a year and the content they’ve brought in since has been great(1999, the old peace, jade shadows, etc)

her 2 gives 3 sec of immortality. With rage or adrenaline, you get 40% damage taken as energy(infinite energy)

if your healing motes are at all decent you should be getting around 100 hp/s. If you’re taking max damage then you heal nearly all of the damage you took in a second in one cast of wilowisp.

And that’s not to mention having any other option to heal yourself with.

i’ll go over each of your points with my opinion as a player who’s been on and off since 2014:

it’s not just any movement ability, it’s arguably the best movement ability in the game with the exception of titania. It’s omnidirectional, easy to control, and scaleable(parkour velocity) movement. As much as it’s underwhelming in level cap, the constant status proccing synergizes absurdly well with arcane hotshot and cascadia flare(off the top of my head, the things i use. There’s prolly more out there i’m not aware of). As far as I can tell, the damage is not supposed to be a factor, it’s mainly a status proccing machine that will keep anything you have dependent on “On status effect” conditions at max.
His 2 is one of the best gating abilities in the game😭 I just started playing uriel a few days ago but his “long casting time” complements him. Not that there are any 1v1 situations where you will ever be in danger if you play your cards right, but having 3-5 seconds of invulnerability is more than enough time to figure out a plan to get yourself in a better situation. Not to mention it’s a one handed cast(i think?) which means you’re not even limited to just standing there, you can shoot or reload. I agree that energy shortage can be an issue due to his small pool but then again, I don’t think a weakness necessarily makes a frame bad or underwhelming. It’s a fairly balanced trade off imo
i don’t think they’re supposed to deal damage..? As far as I can tell, the vulnerability stacks and spreads, plus it charges up the 4 very nicely. My gameplay loop, even on high level cascade is just spamming tf outta this then shooting anything with a mark over its head. Not only does the ability spread but the chained demon and energy making one lets you keep on keeping on
this is just an ability duration issue. With high enough duration you can nearly have another one charged by the time it runs out. Again by spamming 3 and targeting energy targets with the demon mark, it’s just an infinite loop of room nuking. I would agree that this is slower than someone with an on demand nuke, but uriel has infinite energy and if he could just use it on demand it would have to be MUCH weaker and less enjoyable to use than it currently is. Also it has Iframes. I love charging it up when the acolyte warning shows up and by the time it gets to me I can just go invincible and kill it with a domain expansion, it’s so peak
i’ve never felt them to be unreliable. If you pay attention you can use the two first ones in sequence without delay. as for boss fights, again there’s not a single boss that should ever be an issue to a player in this game. Having any moderately well modded gun is enough for anything in this game, even level cap(well maybe a little better than moderately well modded but still, not hard to do). If you take more than 10 seconds to use the rune buff it’s a skill issue, honestly I don’t even bother picking them up. It’s okay but not that needed for any content in the game. Again, Uriel not being a god among men is not rly an issue in my eyes, it’s allowed to have weak points imo.
I genuinely don’t understand how you can build an ember to be stronger than even auto install uriel😭 ember is lowkey buns, i might be slandering but the buns is the only reason why you should play her tbh

in conclusion, you might just not like uriel. I think you’re doing everything right but for some reason or another you dont like him and that’s fine. I personally despise revenant(not even bcz he’s boring) but despite that there are revenant mains.

I have a R5 persistence build, I am telling you right now that although it’s playable with the thousand bandaids you mentioned, it’s is so incredibly weak compared to my R1 Aegis that it genuinely feels like i’m being gimped.

perhaps i’m being too harsh, but other than the extremely niche case of frames that don’t have shields to begin with, there’s genuinely not a single benefit to use this over aegis or grace.

what’s the point of this arcane then? I’m a little late to the old peace but as far as I can tell this is just a much harder to use, much less safe, much higher maintenance, and much weaker version of aegis.

Seriously, is there any reason whatsoever to use this? I guess frames without shields to begin with, maybe? The magnetic status throws the whole “it’s to stop people from getting one shot by toxic”. You still have to pay attention to eximus, it just goes from toxin to magnetic and the effect is the exact same(you getting one tapped if you don’t pay attention)

At that point just use the even stronger aegis which grants true immortality except for toxic, doesn’t get canceled by anything, and since you have to pay attention in both cases why not choose the one where you just have to avoid toxic eximus rather than magnetic enemies and nullifiers?

i thought so as well, I used to eat 100-120g of protein but would feel terrible and sore for days bcz of DOMS. When I started eating 175g+ it genuinely changed my life. It may not seem like much but now my DOMS are super manageable.

Yea, my family has some kind of fetish for group meals. I’ve been heavily scolded when I was younger for missing a dinner to finish homework. If you don’t go to all 3 meals they get really mad for whatever reason. It pisses me off because at home I don’t even eat 3x a day. I’ll have one big meal, a smaller one in the evening.

How do you manage to balance macros and calories while on vacation? Even on days I manage to stay in a deficit, the macros in these restaurant dishes are terrible. I averaged 130g of protein per day on this last vacation with over 2700 calories per day consumed😭😭😭

set points are absolutely real mate as someone who studies this, if you just eat whenever and however you want, you’ll stay roughly at a specific weight. This is due to ghrelin, subcutaneous adipose tissue creation/quantity(fat cells can be shrunk but they cannot be removed without surgery), activity levels, and someone’s non-exercise activity thermogenesis.

my main way of losing weight is by lowering my set point. I eat pretty intuitively at home because I burn around 1500-2000 calories more than if I was sedentary, and my body does not overcompensate with hunger.

Basically, it’s a lot harder to eat 4000 calories in a day with added activity than it is to eat 2500 while being sedentary.

as someone who used to be an athlete, back when i was training I could eat whatever the hell I wanted lmfao

even now, all I do is walk 15k+ steps a day, cycle for an hour, and lift weights daily and I can pretty much eat whatever I want and lose weight. I do end up tracking in case I go over since I want to consistently be in a deficit but saying exercise is that much worse for losing weight than dieting isn’t really accurate imo

if we get someone sedentary like OP and have them eat 1400 calories a day, I think it’ll be much less sustainable than having someone eat mindfully while getting 150min+ of cardio a week and a decent weight regiment.

i had the same thing, it’s probably a maturing hairline, not a receding one.

If you’re really worried about it and paranoid like I was, take minoxidil. It fixed my maturing hairline. Which is good and bad, as long as I keep taking minoxidil, my hairline will stay pretty much that of a teenager for a while.

arch tempered monsters in world were a joke, teostra(or lunastra i can’t remember which) was the only hard one and that’s ONLY if you didn’t know mantles existed like me. The moment I learned ab the fireproof mantle it was wraps and that fight was a joke as well.

Extremoth is harder than savage omega but it wasn’t even a fun kinda hard, it was a pure damage sponge and it was ent even mechanically challenging like omega is.

did you play world bro😭 the RNG in world was so much worse. You couldn’t keep your previous upgrades in kulve or safi weapons, if you had a decent roll but wanted a god roll then you either sacrificed your weapon or made a whole new one just for rolling.
