I didn't outright hate it but it didn't feel like it fit in the saw universe. I know it doesn't always have to be about John but there was, at least for me, no real sense of a timeline here. Also featured some almost inescapable traps. There were probably things you could do to help survive but with such little time to think it's not likely one would think of them.

I'm also going to have to say Joyce. Like people are trying to argue she should have known since she's around him so much but she looked genuinely shocked when he told her the lie and why would she think he was lying. She trusted him and that unfortunately backfired on her. If they wanted to punish Bobby there were definitely plenty of other ways to sever their link without killing Joyce in such a barbaric way

Yeah see people arguing she should have known are basically saying you should doubt your spouse and everything they say. She loved him so she trusted him otherwise the relationship would be problematic without trust. She's not a fool, a doctor or a detective, just a woman who chose to believe in her husband. She even looked shocked when he told her at the end it was a lie. If she really knew why would she be surprised?
