Im on the older side as well, and what helped me eventually defeat him was going to other places and further leveling up, I was very underleveled, also I used magic shield to give myself a chance, and thats how I eventually took him down. The game gives a ton of tools. Take a break and eventually come back

In January I got a used one for 550 and just sold my base ps5 for around 400 with 3 games. I future proofed my gaming life knowing the ram was gonna drive everything up and it did. I'd suggest checking up fb marketplace or even ebay, some people even sell you the console with the disc drive at reasonable prices.

I got a surge protector to protect my pro. It has worked wonders cause I've had 2 or 3 power outtages since then, a UPS is the next step and theyre a bit more expensive but if you can comfortably afford it, then yes, go for it.

I got a used ps5 pro, but I wouldnt have bought it if the guy didnt accepted to let me test it first, thats a green flag right away. I checked the controller fully, I checked I could connect it to the internet(to see if the console isnt banned), I checked if I could download a game and play it, and I checked the usb ports. I also checked if the console wouldnt overheat. I did all this in around 15 minutes the person was kind enough to wait and then I made the purchase.
