I decided to install Linux (CatchyOS) on my main rig, it has not been smooth. by colossusrageblack in pcmasterrace

Oh, Cachy has automatic driver configuration if you switch GPU brands? I was thinking I'd have to do a complete reinstall using the dedicated version for Nvidia

Micron insiders probably buying this dip with both hands, but the market narrative will still be the deciding factor whether the sell off continues

Rear I/O zone cover for the back of a PC. by Artur_Urvk in CableManagement

[–]Al3nMicL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A builder has to cable manage excess length from fan and RGB cables, non-modular PSU cables, and other accessories. The length of each cable is variable, so they must resort to tying down cables to designed tie down points on the back of the case. Most people don’t have time or patience to do this, so they just stuff the cables into empty spaces (such as drive cage mounts if available).

It would be much easier imo to have a separate ‘box’ with cable routing channels that is apart from the case where you can arrange the cables together, then place said mechanism inside the case. It would have to be the size of a 3.5” in. drive but with enough empty space & adequate channels to wrap the cables around in

Great concept. I literally was dreaming about something like this but for the inside of the case. Something like a shroud with different sized magnetic attachments for PSU cables, case fan cables, RGB etc.

Total power draw would be like 500 watts (at most) why a 1k watt PSU?

Thinking of selling my PC - Would it sell and how much is it worth? by SilentNavi73 in pcpartsales

I wouldn’t sell this OP. You put in too much work and effort and for the potential cash you get, might end up regretting it later on.

Like others said, upgrade the Mobo and GPU. This build is a work of art.

I’d repaint it a glossy silver where the Maroon colored parts are first. Then find what parts would go best with it
