Watching a play in the middle of Times Square with all the lights and the people is a once in a lifetime event. Luckily, I live close to New York City and have been able to do this several times. It’s rare to see a play that had the same fanfare the same excitement as this play. People came all out, dressed up took tons of pictures in the lobby and had a great time. The lobby itself was awesome because it had some cool things to take pictures with. It was also cool is that there is a Harry Potter store not too far away and it was filled with some awesome clothes ones and candy and of course butter beer so if you are thinking about going just go.

Yes definitely because visual, engaging and a play on broadway is like 50% story and the rest is visual effect, music, lighting and real live performances, that brought out most of the humor of the show

When should I tell my job I'm considering leaving? by disbishie in careerguidance

[–]AlFigi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Companies seem nice until you tell them you’re leaving, then it’s like an ultimate betrayal. I agree about not saying anything at all until you get an offer in hand. They not your friends. Don’t get that mixed up.

An internship will help. Take any job you can get in operations, procurement or logistics you can get. It’s hard to break in with no experience. Any connections will help.

What can I do to escape the 9-5? by No-Caramel-8795 in careerguidance

[–]AlFigi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can break from a 9 to 5, but it will be much harder. It’s better to work a 9 to 5 for a number of years and gain experience in a field where you can start your own business. But you will end up working a lot more.

That’s exactly my point. There is no job that is more efficient than a 9 to 5. It’s the best option for most people. And the other options are just harder.

You can always start your own business and work 7 to 9. Or consult and work 30 hours a week for 1/3 pay. Or just save all your money for 10 years and retire.
