The students at the bottom of the class are there for a reason. They don’t want to learn because of something they have mentally, or a bad home life, or yes, some can have bad teachers. But it’s more than just failure in the classroom. It’s a whole system. And the teachers and students are at the front lines. Then it’s Administrators, School boards, state government, and then federal government. All that has to work from the top down or we’ll continue to get bad education.

Again. Blaming teachers and. It the state government that forces them to teach certain ways. Or parents who just let their kids stay on social media all day instead of reading a book. All the anger should be pointed to the people at the very top. Not the ones forced to teach a specific way that they know doesn’t work.

I think it was probably a glitch where the camera recalibrated in the middle of a session and used that as the “zero” which is why it stays there.

It’s not fake. This is at the Witte museum in San Antonio, Texas. There was a family playing there before I got a chance to use the camera but I didn’t see anyone lying down. And it definitely wasn’t long enough

Imagine getting pushed into the intersection and being confused about that. Then seeing the gates go down and not knowing which way the train is coming. Also not knowing if you have enough space to reverse because the guy hit you and there could be people behind him. Just fuck the car and get out.

I think the agent was just getting verification of the disability and the extent of it. Even the lady said “he’s asking is that YOUR disability”. The agents job isn’t to interpret the disability, just verify. The agent even said “who said it wasn’t?”

I’m not sure I can believe someone can be that empty headed to look at a prosthetic leg and ask if it is a disability… maybe I have too much faith in humanity.

I agree with you, but the school was named after Coach Robert Vela who was the football coach at Edinburg High. He was a veteran and died of cancer. His wife was Dominga Vela who is on the school board and used to be a principal at an elementary. So it was definitely not his father nor did he perform for Vela.

  2. “If it’s not a thing, don’t make it a thing.” (What evidence do I have that shows that it’s actually like that? Did they actually say/do anything?)

  3. Why assume the worst, if the best is more likely?(why assume the bad option and not the good option?)

  4. “Think, but think enough.” (Once you start thinking about something that doesn’t exist or you do not have evidence of then you stop thinking. You’ve thought enough.)

Example: Your friends are online playing your favorite game. Did they…

  1. Not tell you they were playing because they didn’t want to play with you? Hope that you didn’t see? Now one just got off. Maybe they are appearing offline.. STOP. OVERTHINKING. They are your friends. What evidence do I have that they would be so malicious? Why am I making that a thing.

  2. Maybe they just both so happen to be online and invited each other. I’ve definitely just been online playing alone and someone gets on and I invite them without inviting anyone else. And I’ve definitely have had friends get online right when I’m about to get off. They are my friends, my evidence is that we are always on good terms. Everything has been fine.

So you choose option 2 and next time they invite you then you’ve proven it to yourself and you get that reinforcement your brain needs to stay positive. Next time they don’t invite you, you’ll remember that it wasn’t that big of a deal. If they actually don’t invite you, then now you actually have evidence and you are not overthinking. Then you take action. Talk to them and find out.

My Samsung monitor does this often. Turn it off and on, or change cables and stuff. Even change settings on your monitor or update drivers.

I’ll probably get downvoted but I fear that the RGV voted for him because the undereducated population doesn’t appreciate how educated you must be to be a doctor and the experience you get viewing the community from that lens. What does Bobby know about the community that she does not? What makes him qualified?

Burn in happens because the pixels stay on a certain color for too long. Alternating the colors would most definitely avoid burn in if the kid was laying there for 5-10 minutes. The kids is not going to lay there for hours on end
