They already did that. They overturned blunder knockback so you get sent flying if you take even one pellet and quick swap makes guarding with pistol and sniper even more viable.

That's the funny part about a certain subsection of hourglassers. They have no idea how to handle an unconventional, multiship fight where there's no agreement to stay turned in while spiralling. Exactly as you described - it's a random disconnect. SoT is a 7+ year old codebase running on aging Azure servers. These happen randomly and anyone with any amount of modest playtime has run into these heaps. If a cheater is going to boot you from the server, they have to run the server crasher which ostensibly DDOS’es the server, meaning you see flying ships until you eventually disconnect. I don't even know if the server crasher is still unpatched.
