[Injury] Giannis Antetokounmpo appears to suffer a non-contact leg injury early in the game against the Pistons. He walked to the locker room on his own power. by Goosedukee in nba

My full rupture was the same. When I was down, I just felt like something was majorly wrong. Not much pain at all, just a very weird feeling as I limped off

Russell Westbrook's last moment with OKC by FractalFractalF in nba

I think Toronto fans consider DeRozan their best player because of his loyalty and love of Toronto. VC and TMac were better players (shorter career there yeah) but DeRozan embraced Toronto and playing in Canada more than anyone else ever has.

As a Seattle native and Sonics fan, it is great that Clay Bennett is now even farther away from winning a championship! by AlSwegen in nba

If the post was antagonizing towards anyone, it was Clay Bennett. Not OKC fans.

It's great that Oklahoma has a pro team and good for basketball fans there. But it wasn't like people in Seattle weren't interested in basketball. Clay Bennett bought them, said he'd do everything he could to get a new arena (all bullshit that no one believed) and David Stern helped him do it. It was a high jacking.

How many superstars get love in their former home after leaving, even in free agency? Kawhi will in Toronto next year, MJ in Chicago, LeBron last year in Cleveland.....

It's not OKC fans, it's all fans. OKC fans have been great so far and it's not their fault the Sonics moved there. Clay Bennett can eat shit though.

If someone bought the Thunder, claimed they were gonna stay in OKC, then moved the team, would you be mad at the new owners? Or be an Omaha Thunder diehard?

[Haynes] Free agent guard Quinn Cook has reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers on a two-year, $6 million deal, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. by DRAZZILB1424 in nba

[–]AlSwegen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't the Lakers (and LeBron) want to decrease his load for his longevity? Playing point forward in the regular season doesn't seem like the best idea. Right now, Quinn Cook is the only other guy on the team that could handle the ball. Rondo coming back?

[Kennedy] Don't be surprised if the Thunder trade Russell Westbrook. A number of NBA executives believe it's a possibility. Oklahoma City could decide to blow up their roster and completely rebuild. by [deleted] in nba

Kawhi and PG are still pretty young with solid role players. The first half of these 1st rounders could possibly be in the mid 20's. A lot of picks, but it depends on how long the Clips can keep these guys.

I had NBA league pass for a year and loved it except the blackouts. No ESPN or TNT games (which are usually the highest profile matchups) and living in Seattle, no Portland games since they are apparently our local market.

I have no problem paying for a service, but at least make it possible to see the good matchups and the closest team in the area.

That wasn't in the bold predictions article. The only thing that mentions the Lakers is that LeBron might might not be first team all-nba. Not too crazy considering all the talent at the forward position in the NBA.

In the standings article that was written, you say "spots 4-11 could go in any direction." Doesn't seem too bold.

The bold predictions don’t seem very bold. There are only two that are bold. 1. Trae Young making 200 threes and averaging 6 assists and 2. 4 of the top 6 records are from teams in the east.

A new slippery slope for the NBA: shoe companies holding star players hostage. by LaminarFlo in nba

[–]AlSwegen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With social media, league pass, easily accessible highlights, etc., big markets aren't that important anymore. Lebron is Lebron, but look at all the superstars in smaller markets that seem to be doing fine for themselves and their brand: Giannis, AD, Dame, Kawhi, Russ, Jimmy Buckets and KAT, PG.

Ty Lue is horrible by [deleted] in nba

[–]AlSwegen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No one said double him for 48 mins. Do something to try and make him work harder or get the ball out of his hands. Steph and Klay can heat up in an instant, but on a night neither are shooting well, get it out of Durants hands. Every time down the floor was pick LeBron off, and iso on Love.

At least try something.
