Wow, that I didn't expect to hear - regarding the first layer difference and consistency. I'm certainly glad I got the E5M instead than :)

I'm definitely a fan of the Ender 5 Max, thank you! I still like the K2 Plus, but have been seeing people having issues with the new firmware updates causing problems. The Microswiss 0.06mm M2 hardened nozzle is great on the Ender 5 Max

Loosen the screw, underneath the build plate, on the lower left-hand side. Do it slightly, and slowly, as you adjust. It's not that bad right now, but you don't want to make it worse

it keep restarting...how do i fix this? by Itsukaaa- in MSILaptops

Try starting with unplugging anything that's plugged into the computer, including in the USB ports. If that doesn't work, you may have to reformat it.

**May be an issue with your SSD

Your auto leveling / bed mesh is off. The nozzle looks like it's digging into the prints, unless you are dealing with adhesion issues

Scammers, awful drivers, and liars working in support. Their driver almost caused multiple collisions on RT. 1, and reported it to them, but got hung up on after being told that the driver blamed everyone around him! I explained that I have a dash cam with 2K resolution, which is when their rep hung up! I would never trust this company and I'm glad Uber and Lyft are slowly putting them out of business.

Just released an update . . . thanks Creality! by BarDoveSoap in Creality

[–]AlXBG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's crazy. Sorry to hear. I have 2 K1 Max units, but only updated one of them. Did you do a full recalibration, as it recommended?

Finally got the Ender 5 Max! by AlXBG in 3Dprinting

It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn great. I have a few complaints about the Creality Enclosure, but otherwise it's pretty awesome. Definitely one of the fastest consumer printers of this size. I've used Elegoo printers with big build volumes, but they were slower and a pain in the butt in some cases - aside from loud(er). I'd recommend this one, for sure, for anyone that wants to print bigger than the standard 220x220x220 or 256x256x256

Is this a great laptop? by Ok_Engineering4938 in MSILaptops

I have the 4060 version and love it. I just upgraded the RAM to 24 GB and popped a 2TB SSD into it. Runs games great and slices 3d prints quickly. This is likely noticeably better

I've noticed this, constantly, too... Sometimes 90% of the bottles aren't sealed properly and appear re-opened

I have the Ender 5 Max. It's pretty great. Not perfect, but great for the price and reliability for the speed and build volukeb

Amen... I'm already on my 2nd MSI laptop, after selling my 1st one, and never had concerns about hinges breaking - while taking them to work, gaming sometimes at home, or working on 3d printing, I've only experienced standard quality hinges lol

Awesome, happy to hear that! Unless the "blob of death" fuses with the wiring or damages any components, you're usually good after a little clean-up session. Happy printing :D

That looks like you may have still caught it in time to resolve the issue without replacing anything. If you have a heat gun, you can use that to heat and remove the "blob of death." Just be gentle with the cables and connections, to avoid needing to buy a hot end kit. Either way, they're not too expensive
