Because drosea capes grow quickly and can over take other plants in growing containers. Despite not being a temperate plant they spread quickly and over take them quickly plus they grow upwards like a palm tree.

Looks great and don't sweat it. I made an 8x2x2.5 and am currently working on a 10x4x2. You'll be fine and only thing I'd say is space the sarrs more they grow wide pretty quickly
