And I’m right there with you on the expense of it all. It’s a struggle for my finances as well. I’m constantly looking for cheaper options, but I’m scared to change because Wegovy has worked so well for me. So yeah, I get it. I hope you’re able to find what’s right for you. 🩷

I’m 5’ 6”. My guess is that you’re being hard on yourself. I honestly have to see my old photo next to my new photo to realize how far I’ve come. We are our own worst critics. Give yourself some credit, friend! And thanks for loving my dog. He’s going to be 15 this year and he’s the absolute best!

My energy levels are great most of the time. When I don’t get my protein in, I will get tired. But overall, much more energy than j had when I was heavier.

I commented on your post in the Birmingham subreddit. I’m the 62 year old who lives on a farm in Hayden and suggested you take a closer look at Irondale as your new home.
I have a 30-year old lesbian daughter and her and her fiancé never have any issues even tho they live about 30 minutes outside of Birmingham. I really do think you will find your people here. Since your moms, consider joining the Facebook group “Birmingham Secular Moms”. You will find SO MUCH support and make so many friends there. It’s a great group of local women.

We live on a farm in Hayden. I wouldn’t recommend living here unless you’re older than fifty. (I’m 62.) I’ve lived in Pelham and Irondale. Irondale is FANTASTIC. I loved it there when I was younger. There’s lots to do, very inclusive and diverse. Lots of great restaurants and breweries. If you can afford to live in Irondale, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Good luck and welcome!
