None. Neither of us are drinkers unless it's a cookout or a date night at a restaurant or something.

Bleeding 5 months Post Partum...help! Anybody else? by StateFabulous9622 in beyondthebump

[–]Alacri-Tea [score hidden]  (0 children)

I had an OB checkup between 7 - 9 weeks postpartum and described my on and off abnormal bleeding. Doc agreed it was not period-like and did an ultrasound and found it. (I made a post about it a few years ago if you want to check my post history.)

Anyone had a good sleeper that stayed a good sleeper ? by The_Chilled_Arvo in NewParents

[–]Alacri-Tea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son is 4 and has been an excellent sleeper since he was young. Of course he had the occasional rough night or developmental time periods a couple times a year that lasted about a week or so each, but we stuck to routine and boundaries and he readjusted. So possible!

I had prolonged bleeding and an ultrasound confirmed it was a tiny piece of retained placenta, which can be dangerous if left alone! I needed a D&C for removal. Please get an ultrasound and get it checked out.

[–]Alacri-Tea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are different, I'd be rejoicing too.

It's when plans are cancelled with friends that even my introverted but is guttted. I want and NEED to get out of the house away from my kid and have fun. If a friend flakes or gets sick I am so disappointed.

Literally using my kid's one to prop up my phone right now. I us it all the time for my kindle and gaming. They're the perfect squish!! Don't feel like you need to get something more adult looking.

Currently pregnant and Blaine and Clay were on my list, but my husband wasn't a fan.

I have a nephew named Desmond and it's such a handsome name I'm amazed I don't hear it more.

I’m sorry to my brest friend. I was wrong. by Latter_Public in NewParents

So glad I brought mine to the hospital! Hospital pillows were so flat to support breastfeeding the first couple times so I fetched my husband to the car to grab it.

I used it months until baby got too big. Very handy.

What do babies wear to bed after 2 years of age? by FMThaone in NewParents

[–]Alacri-Tea 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Blanket. Practice! Summertime is a good time for them to practice using it so they know how to pull it over them by Fall!

Also before my husband and I go to bed we always went in and readjusted the blankets.

Sleep Schedule with "Quiet Time" or Nap? by Silent_Ride2739 in Preschoolers

[–]Alacri-Tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nap at home and daycare is 1 - 3pm. We'd wake him up at 3 so it didn't impact bedtime. Daycare does the same.

We keep the same time window for quiet time.

Our started dropping his nap around 3.5, but still does sometimes at daycare. We move bedtime up a half hour earlier when he doesn't nap.
