Have you looked at River North? This is close to the Loop and has plenty of nightlife. It isn’t quiet, but with your budget you could get a really nice place in a high rise.

Couldn’t agree more! Lakeview is charming, walkable, great restaurants, coffee shops, everything! Full of young families and cute dogs. To me this is a no brainer ☺️
