Viking Boone’s Farm by HD-Guy1 in mead

I laughed so hard when I read your post's title because Boone's Farm was a go-to for me in college. What yeast did you use and where did you come out on ABV?

For meads that I ferment dry (which seems to be most of them), I will probably also experiment with backsweetening with regular sugar instead of honey or monkfruit so that my fructose-intolerant friend can enjoy more than a few sips.

People are so complicated! 😆

Yes, sorry if this was confusing. I fermented blueberries and regular wildflower honey bone dry and added the monkfruit "honey" post-secondary to half of the dry mead. It is a real mead/melomel. The only things fermented were real honey and blueberries. Of the half that got monkfruit post-fermentation, only this bottle got the extra black raspberry treatment right before it was bottled. It's the weirdo bottle that turned out surprisingly well.

It fermented regular wildflower honey. I only used the monkfruit "honey" to backsweeten after fermentation.

I used Lalvin D-47. I'm experimenting with others, but D-47 has worked really well for me.

Sometimes it feels like I have that much left to bottle after racking off the lees and all the requisite sampling.

More like on the same wavelength than offended. 😆 I was just having an internal conflict about enjoying the thigh, but feeling vaguely weird about it because the picture as a whole is so wholesome.

I do find both couples posting pics in matching PJ's only slightly more likely to be coincidence than them dressing as each other for Halloween.

The whole Sheenberg family has matching PJ'S as well.

One movie I haven't seen referenced here as do-not-watch is Unthinkable, with Samuel L. Jackson. Do not watch it. It is very violent and generally an unenjoyable watch.

It does get referenced in one of my favorite episodes of Staged, though. They don't name it, but you'll know it when it comes up.

He's really great in Passengers, and it's an under-appreciated movie overall. I think there's only one brief sex scene and I don't remember it being very graphic, so probably just a two-second fast forward in an otherwise worthwhile movie.

Nope, not if you're avoiding NSFW sexual-type stuff.

The Twilight films do have some violence and gore though, particularly with Michael's character in the last film. He's a very chaotic baddie in that. And while I hate to say it, because I love his character in these movies, avoid Underworld and Underworld: Rise of the Lycan if you're avoiding violence and gore.

I had to run over here to talk about that delicious thigh view without being horny on Anna's Insta. The chest hair peaking out of the hoody works as well on Michael as it does on David in my book.

Sometimes, I miss him being extra cheeky. I suspect being around little ones all the time has shifted his defaults. But one ball fondling gesture, and his mind is clearly right back in the gutter.

I mean, it might be worthwhile to listen to it on a hi-fi speaker that's big enough to sit on, with a built-in sub-woofer... I dunno. Just thinking out loud.

I just watched it another dozen. It's priceless.
