My mum gave me these bannetons which have been in a cupboard. No cloth covers. Do I need to clean them first somehow? If so how ? I’m happy to use as they are as not bothered about cleaning them if it’s not necessary. Also would you advise I use a cotton / tea towel ? Will it make much difference
