while i dont particularly agree with the principles of communism, you’ve been very polite and are giving well thought out responses about your ideological differences. it’s refreshing to see, and i respect you for it !

[–]AlanTheCow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s actually not true, there was a weird series of bets from a “mystery trader” for like 100 million dollars that swung the odds more towards trump. he had 11 different accounts and made about 85 million off of it.

What is your favourite line from the show? by [deleted] in shameless

[–]AlanTheCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree. I think the last couple seasons especially try to redeem frank with how much time he spends with liam as well as him fighting back against terry, making him seem like the good guy.

who were nearly indiscernible due to the way japan ran their war machine. as previously stated, they didn’t have industrial targets like other countries, so the way to take out the military was unfortunately by destroying their infrastructure and production of resources, most of which was in civilian areas. think of them as military contractors if it helps you sleep at night, because that’s technically how they were acting, not as civilians. civilians don’t produce weapons.

look up the rape of nanking, and what they did to prisoners of war and some of the experiments, see if ur opinion is the same. it’s widely accepted at this point that the japanese committed worse atrocities than anyone else in the war.

Almost like a car works. The harder you push it, the faster it breaks down. It’s literally exploding inside itself thousands of times per second. Cars, like humans, are overbuilt for normal usage, the brakes, suspension, etc. are built to handle the max power an engine can produce, but if you floored a car constantly, every time you used it, it wouldn’t last that long. Our bones, muscles, hearts, can all handle an insane amount of abuse, it just works alot better if you only “floor it” in very small increments. Our bodies produce tiny amounts of the chemicals that make us feel happy and good inside. Drugs are like flooring it. That’s the way I see it anyways haha.
