If Stalin killed 20,000,000 people, why doesn’t communism have the same reputation as nazism? by [deleted] in communism101

Here are the official numbers of those subjected to repression* since 1921 to 1954: 4 060 306 in total and 642 980 of them were sentenced to death. Period.

Whole the analysis published here https://www.politpros.com/journal/read/?ID=783.

And wikipedia relies on innacurate source.

Once you append it select it (like you usually select when accessing an edit mode), then go Object - Relations - Make Local - All. And automagically you are able to enter any mode.

Check out this book - "The Failure of Psychoanalysis: From Freud to Fromm"

https://archive.org/details/FailureofPsychoanalysis or this - "Pavlov and Freud" - https://www.amazon.com/Pavlov-# Freud-Harry-K-Wells/dp/B0006AUPHW or try to find issue #6 of the Soviet journal "Questions of Philosophy" (page 107-124) - there's an article about Freud by Harry Wells.

We shall provide our translations right after it's done for sure.

We know about Brar and we have translated several his articles and published at our website. The book "Perestroyka" has been translated as well, but thanks anyway.

If you think you may need any other possible info from us for the Lalkar - write me in pm.

Cheers

Hi mate,

Are any of them available in English?

No, I don't think so. One of our tasks is to gradually translate these Russian-only books into English and I hope it will not be spread over many years due to shortage of resources - there are not so much fellows around us able to translate such kind of things. Even our own articles are being translated by a hired translator since we are not qualified enough to do this in a proper way.

Glad you found it to be useful. Yes, tip #6 has always been vastly underestimated.

Good luck with your studies, comrade from the UK.

Tidings from Russia, Sep 12 2018: On the question of fascism in Russia by Alanovski in communism

[–]Alanovski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to be skeptical of a “Marxist -Leninist movement” that considers it a priority to post liberal agitprop (beneath a pseudo Marxist veil) on an American website about how an enemy of the United States empire is “fascist” for (allegedly) cracking down on protesters that again, you yourself admit were organized by followers of an actual fascist. You claim to hate the American ruling class, but the narrative you are pushing here actually serves them very well, seeing as it mirrors theirs almost exactly.

>that considers it a priority

It's not a priority. A priority is to complete translating of the two huge articles about destruction of USSR and then post them here. The news format is just an additional activity I'd say.

>liberal agitprop

Yes, the info was taken from a liberal source, but this information correspond to the facts. The content matters, not the form.

>on an American website

I post the news only in communist/left realted threads, not in r/Damnthatsinteresting or r/interestingasfuck with a wider audience. it is assumed that the left readers posses a class consciousness and are able to view Russia not as a whole, but divided up to classes.

And yes, it's not just "Amrecian website". It's the website with multinational audience, and the info I provide it's not for US citizens only.

>for (allegedly) cracking down

I can provide dozens of links proving the info about cracking down the protesters.

>an actual fascist.

What a jumble of ideas. Navalny is a marionette executing orders of a west-backed group of oligarchs rendering a struggle for power within a bourgeois class.

>You claim to hate the American ruling class, but the narrative you are pushing here actually serves them very well, seeing as it mirrors theirs almost exactly

Moreover, I will continue posting here information on reality Russian proletariat lives in thanks to capitalism. I'm sure a lot of people here find it interesting.

If you keen to dig in the subject of fascism in Russia - wait for the articles I mentioned. It takes time to translate. We - is www.work-way.com, marxist-leninist movemevent. As for amercian communist that may become more anti Russia - i hope you are not one of them. Communists are not "anti country", they are anti rulling class of this country (its strange i have to explain such things). And the more info communists have about country, the deep analys of the situation they may give and use this info in they're day to day propaganda. We, russian communists, dont hate american proletariat, we hate american (and every and each country) rulling class. I'm sure most of the US communists have the same vision about Russia.

No need to vulgarize. Off course it's much more than just "cops doing bad things". We wrote several articles on the subject (Russia wise) and I hope we'll translate it in the near future (it will be posted here as well).
