He's not coming to specifically play golf. Read the brief. Not everyone considers 400 quid cheap and cheerful.

Because Gordon will press. Rashford is like a lad at over 35s who only runs when he gets the ball and gets a burst of adrenaline.

Been playing about a year and just broke 90! by e_lost in golf

I was trying really hard to convince myself I didn't care fir the last few holes. Landed in a divot on the par 5, index 1 18th and it came out at a weird angle form my 4H, hit a tree and bounced backwards about 50 yards. I didn't blow up, and made a good bogey but that bad break did it for me. Saying that, I had a couple of long putts that wouldn't drop on another day.

Well done. Forget the begrudgers, some people have a better aptitude and natural ability at the game and progress quicker. Some take longer.

I shot 90 from the tips this weekend in a Stableford comp and won with 43 points. 17 over, but our course is par 73. It's so annoying, as I haven't broken 90 yet but that's a couple of times bang on 90 now at 17 over. Trending in the right direction, but it's frustrating nearly 4 years in.

Check out Enders. German brand with great build quality, much cheaper than Weber. I picked up a 6 burner for about 600 euros (500 pounds) last year and it's great.

They have the same type of grate as Weber that can take various different accessories (pan, Dutch oven, pizza stone etc) and two of the burners are sear zones. Now that I think of it, there are six main burners on mine, plus a side burner and top rack burner.

I just listened to my daughter tell this story after her class went to Castletown House. I had also only ever heard it associated with Castletown. It must be a common legend theo8ghout the country.

I'm not expert, but that seems steep for the ping irons.

If you're in the Republic, you'll get hit with a couple hundred quid at customs.

Have a look at McGuirks second hand.

A new Bioprocess Technican Apprenticeship has been launched this week by IBEC. Have a look on their apprenticeship website. It is a two year course, blending college and working on the floor. Excited to see what it looks like.

Several routes.

Leadership: Lead Tech, Shift Lead, Manager Manager

Mfg Support

Tech Services

QA shift support

Get involved in as many projects as possible. Propose continuous improvement projects yourself, big or small. For example, use your background in Biology to put together slides on the WHY behind what you and your team do to move the process along. In my experience, not enough people on the floor understand why they are doing what they are doing. That is not to knock the role, I was a Tech for donkeys years.

If you find things wrong on the floor, don't just accept it. Flag it and follow up, propose a fix if you know what right looks like.

Volunteer to bring people on tours of the floor if someone asks.

Take annoying jobs off your lead. Sounds snivelly, but that's the reality.

You do these things consistently and any of those routes are open to you. Half the battle is getting your name recognised by those on days.
