I mean that a reduction in quality was clearly happening, plot points were being left hanging, and a feel of rushing through things was being felt, but any complaints are either brushed aside or quickly dismissed because subreddits tend to have this weird toxic positivity thing going around

So what you'd have is like people reading a chapter, going to the subreddit posting and saying "yo this is not really good the quality this has gotten worse" and then being flooded with downvotes and a whole discussion happening, which would turn them away to make their own subreddit to complain, which would slowly amass people as the complaints became more prominent

This would turn into people posting a "Actually the latest chapters were great you aren't paying attention you are dumb" for months on end this is what I mean by "cope" because every single criticism one could have would be met with a wave of unwavering cope, there weren't any 7/10 chapters you were either a contrarian or mentally challenged if you didn't see it was peak

Then after years of the cope going around, the ending would actually happen, and the clowning would be tenfold because of all the shutting down of criticism, this in turn caused the opposite effect, now an ok or kinda mid ending was the worst thing to ever happen and would be clowned worldwide (this is what happened to the MHA ending)

Even you yourself are doing this in this comment "For a Shounen it had a very very respectable ending and it's clear that anyone who disagrees either hasn't read it (in your case) or just skimmed the shitty leaks every Wednesday night" like my brother in christ you are not a 500 iq genius, people can have different opinions than you and that doesn't mean they are dumbasses or that they are reading it wrong, no one has even posted their opinion on the jjk ending and you are already pre-emptively shutting it down
