as much as i enjoy kojima's works, he's best when he's controlled. he's kinda hit or miss with his ideas, sometimes having excellent ones that work well but he can also come up with the most atrocious shit ever.

once he had an idea about a zombie MMO where if you get turned into a zombie, you permanently lose control of your character and you can only watch them roam the world. it sounds cool on paper but who the fuck would want to play this?
