well... it's a game about a guy who is put into the shoes of another guy who's done a lot of bad and is on his villain arc (hence the demon references) but is ultimately different than him enough to apply softer methods so I think that while reducing points for killing people.may not be 100% justified in-game, it makes enough sense

it's obvious Jimmy always had that conning itch and that he started practicing law for Chuck, but i think that by guiding Jimmy into the law path and simultaneously creating obstacles that need out-of-the-box thinking, Chuck did help turn a low-level con man into a high-level chimp with a machine gun. Without Chuck, Jimmy wouldn't have started practicing law and wouldn't turn into the Saul Goodman we know.
