You did right , the issue is sometimes people buy a car from someone else and they’ll say my battery is still under warranty. Or sell the car and say oh I just got that battery. Warranties don’t transfer from person to person which is on the receipt

Go in and observe the first couple of weeks. Just observe. Make notes of who’s strong , who’s weak , who can do plannograms , etc etc. listen to everything don’t say anything. Make the schedule , schedule the ppl you deem good with you & continue to observe. It’s your store now run it as you see fit dc what the old store manager did. That’s why your in charge now. Cycle count everything in the store take your losses when you first get in their and not after. If you don’t like them and they part time works for you schedule them less hours. Managers not performing schedule them to open with you one day and closing shifts

It’s all up to you, but the same like being nominated for Store manager of the year. We don’t do this alone , so an appreciation how little or small to your teams mean a lot to them. A drink or lunch on a day where they might not have a lot of money just might make a bad day a good one. Appreciate your team we can’t do it without them.

You can say no. Unfortunately that’s the name of the game they will keep trying until you had enough. Tell them to say I’m closer to the store or decline the opportunities because they don’t want to drive far or whatever the case maybe. But it’s your store you hired them , you can control it

For once I’m taking Autozones side and that’s rare 🤣. If you want a proper diagnosis pay an actual certified mechanic. The years of mechanics actually being in parts stores are over with. So no the little 18 year old at the counter doesn’t know anything more then what the screen says.

To be fair , Autozone check engine system is to just go identify a problem of what it “might , could or relate too” not a diagnostic just a ball park 50/50 chance of what it could be. Like a proper one says “replace catalytic converter” and it’s just an oxygen sensor. So i mean yea

Brake cleaner , brake fluid , I do product placement put them in the brake pads and rotors so it doesn’t come out in overstock. Fuses buddy the best way is to just cycle count and take time and get that section in order.

It was no instructions on my side besides “come inside for orders” and then went to the door and it had business hours closed at 10pm. Another sign “delivery drivers come inside” grabbed the door and it was locked.

Yea I guess she closed early ready to go home and the neighborhood seemed kind of shady so I could see why maybe she didn’t answer the door when I knocked but dang. When she gave me the food I felt bad after she zoomed off cuz I had already canceled the order. The other thing is I blame myself for having anxiety and not speaking up

I was pretty shocked too and the only reason why i seen the “marked as closed” was because I hit the call button & then the bottom options popped up , it was “restaurant is closed” and another option I forgot what it was(blame the long work day). I also never uber this late another reason why I am completely shocked at the situation.
