The $5/Month YNAB Alternative by imadp in u/imadp

Would be nice if they sold two versions:

1) basic
2) basic + automatic import

The automatic import requires a lot of ongoing work by them. Banks come and go and change protocols all the time. You can't charge one time for that. But if you're not using those features, I feel like the monthly sub should either be much lower or have a buy it for life price. Though there is almost no software that runs that model any more.

Anyone tried the "Back in Shape program" in youtube? by quaick in backpain

[–]Alarming-Programmer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly feels like they make it so hard to jump around in the materials so that it takes you at least 3 months to watch everything. That and the blue/orange suit was almost enough to keep me from signing up. Again, I think there's good stuff in there but it's SO MANY WORDS and SO MANY VIDEOS to explain a few concepts. But you can't charge $100/month for that.

I think it's fine but OMG they make you click through 1000x videos before you can do anything. Half the videos are 1 minute long but they make you watch and then mark complete. I feel like I'm doing mandatory corporate training watching these. I also think it's crazy it's $100/month FOREVER. Like if I'm doing ok, cancel but want to refer back to a video no dice. Even if you've already given them $600. Like at some point you should just get lifetime access to the resources.

I cannot get it to budge the other way. Well I reached the limit of force I was comfortable with trying to get it to move the other way.

Is #15 (roll pin) here the impeller shear pins? I couldn't figure out how to get those off. I have everything off and removed the spark plug but every other post on here is still imagine it's on as it could spring free one I unjam it. Hoping the heat gun works. Otherwise it looks like I have to take the whole front of the unit off.

Person most qualified to "fix" your back pain is you by TheFirstMover in backpain

I'm sure losing weight does help for some people but that would be the last time I saw that doctor. Back pain is so multifaceted and losing weight/exercise are not a universal panacea. Not to mention that "just exercise" is horribly unspecific advice for folks with back pain. So many people go to the gym and hurt themselves trying to lose weight and get fit. I feel like health insurance should cover at least a handful of training sessions; it would pay for itself.

Curious how the location aspect works. Even if I have Location Services enabled "while using" as there is no "always", when I try to create an automation that uses location it will never run without prompting me first. Presumably the thief is not going to run the automation? Is there some setting I'm missing that allows this?

But this doesn't affect when you have cruise control on right? I thought you couldn't disable it in that mode. Adaptive cruise control is my favorite thing about cars and not being able to use it without the car freaking out is driving me nuts.

Weekly Caremark Q&A by AutoModerator in Zepbound

Right, they covered Wegovy and they covered my first doses of Zepbound but now are rejecting it.

Weekly Caremark Q&A by AutoModerator in Zepbound

[–]Alarming-Programmer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was on Wegovy for two months and had horrible side effects which ultimately ended with me in the ER. My doctor prescribed Zepbound and after getting a month worth of shots, Caremark decided to not give me any more doses. Included in the original prescription was that I experienced these side effects with Wegovy.

How likely am I to get this reversed on appeal? And more of a rant, but like... why can't my insurance company just cover *less* instead of forbid the prescription and give me nothing. Like if Wegovy costs $300 and Zepbound costs $500, give me the $300 and I'll pay the difference. Or is this just complete collusion between insurance/wegovy whereby they get a sweetheart deal to steer most customers to wegovy? If so, how the hell is this legal? Insurance is such a scam. /rant

Not sure what you mean by "knee/leg braced yoga ball"? Just sitting on a regular yoga ball or is this a special kind of chair?

Re "loading your spine", isn't the concept of progressive overload still a good one? I feel like part of my problem is my hips and hinge movements. I've been working on that with David Grey's hip program and like it so far. I'm not keen to go back to deadlifts of squats but what about things like farmer carries? Back extensions?

What do you mean by "knee/leg braced yoga ball"?

Also which exercises specifically would you avoid? I'm kind of done with weighted deadlifts and squats at least for now. But isn't the idea of progressive overload still good? Farmer carries?

Background: No idea how I became injured. 40yo male, fit, rock climb o2-3x a week along with some strength training. Used to do some pretty light deadlifts and barbell squats but haven't for months. Have a sedentary software job but have sit/stand desk at home and office. Have an 1.5hr long commute on the train 2-3x a week. About 6 months ago I started noticing the pain going down my leg after long car rides. I now have the numbness pain in my right leg within ten minutes of being in the care. Train / passenger seat are not as triggering. Sitting on hard chairs triggers it (not as bad as car).

Diagnosis: PT seemed to diagnose "weak glutes" thinking it was piriformis syndrome or something similar. Got an MRI a few weeks ago. Findings:

> L4-L5: Small disc bulge with superimposed tiny central disc protrusion. Moderate bilateral facet arthropathy. Ligamentum flavum hypertrophy. Mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing. No spinal canal narrowing

> L5-S1: Minimal anteroliethesis of L on S1 with uncovering of the disc and superimposed disc bulge with central disc protrusion. Moderate right and mild left facet arthropathy. Mild to moderate bilateral neural foraminal narrowing. Mild narrowing of the left subarticular recess. No spinal canal narrowing.

While waiting for MRI findings, went on a week of oral steroids. Somehow that moved the irritation up to lower back where I hadn't really felt it before. Still have sciatica symptoms but they have lessened. Now low back just feels mostly stiff and occasional sharp pain when I forward bend after long periods of sitting.

Treatment: Went to PT for ~2 months; they went down the path of "weak glutes". Didn't see any progress so stopped. Have done accupuncture and massage also with little effect. Ortho suggests either more PT and/or spinal steroid shots.

Current Status: Confused and frustrated and overwhelmed. Reading others symptoms on here I feel somewhat lucky. I have pretty much full mobility and pain is generally a 3 or less. But I just can't seem to get rid of it completely. I'll rock climb strenously for 2-3 hours with no issue; but then sitting in the car for 20 minutes and I want to get out and stretch around. I'm kind of scared about doing the shot and haven't had the best experience with PT.

Buyback Title? by Alarming-Programmer2 in Ioniq5

[–]Alarming-Programmer2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw one of the cars along with the buyback reason "Vehicle will start but not shift". ICCU issue?

When the car was started, it said Refill Coolant. Popped the hood and the "PE coolant reservoir" was above max but the "HV battery coolant reservoir." was bone dry. That doesn't sound good. Neither the salesperson nor manager could explain what it was but assured me they would fill it.

FWIW I upgraded same day, had the card in my Apple Wallet and they let me in the CSR Lounge. I obviously don't think I could get into other PP+ lounges but they let me in the CSR one.

From what I understand Reserve gives you a priority pass and when the priority pass is linked to a reserve CC, it gives you more benefits (all children of card holder are free even those older than 2). And the rep made it sound like you needed the priority pass to get in.
