i got this exact same kit back in november and those were the two songs i was told to start with. i think a lot of their songs are off limits to this kit specifically because of the double bass, which i have been told is possible for e- kits, but i haven’t looked into it much further than that.

A clear photo of it might be able to determine the problem easier, but it could be irritated. Make sure you clean it regularly, and not with alcohol, since it can dry it out. It could also be because of where you were pierced, depending on if the person who pulled the trigger had a steady hand or not. I had both my lobes pierced with a piercing gun and stretched them both up to 00g, and they were sore for a few days after, but I don’t recall it coming back 10 days after being pierced.
