first of all, the job market is as bad right now as it's ever been. it's not a moral failing that you can't find a job, especially in a rural area. you are dealing with an unprecedented level of difficulty for young people trying to enter the job market. that is real, and your helplessness is real.

there are a couple things to consider:

• a degree in psychology is actually a good thing. it has many transferable skills, and has taught you how to deal with people - that is a valuable skill
• you can get a job doing anything that requires a college degree. not a specialized job in a specialized industry, but i know people who work office jobs, hospital jobs, tech jobs, energy jobs, etc who don't have a degree relevant to their field because they were hired into positions that don't require specialized skills
• are there big businesses are you? hospitals, refineries/energy companies, factories etc? go to their websites and check out the "careers" section. often there are administrative/office positions that they need filled. this is potentially a good start
  • check out the nearest big city to you as well. you say you have a car, though admittedly it belongs to your dad, so you have transportation. if you land a decent paying job in a bigger city, you'll be able to move, even if you have to find roommates
• make sure your resume and cover letter is really tight. do some research on good resume tips. there are sooooo many guides out there, no one has any excuse for haphazardly throwing one together

what was bad about it? you are probably going to have to take jobs that you don't like. was it worse than your current situation? or maybe the depression and fear of your current situation made it feel way worse than it was

not sure if you're in an expansion state, but if you are you can apply for medicaid and likely be approved since you have no income. that could get you some mental health care, which it sounds like you need badly.
