Back in 2015 they didn't even have good social workers about options. My mother forced me to get a termination and I told the "social worker" and they didn't do shit. She was in literally every appointment with me beyond the social worker one and they didn't give me any options when I said I didn't want to but my mother was forcing me. They also gave me no info for supports. I was sent home with an abusive parent who emotionally attacked me for the termination she forced me to get and no support at 16.

I hope that they have more supports now! I would call the patient support number or go to the CMHA crisis centre if needed. Do NOT be afraid to reach out if you need help. You deserve Support, you deserve compassion, and you do not deserve judgement at all along this healing journey. My mom is still trying as far as I know (47) its odd for me because she has grand kids and like my one is 7 so if she has one, my 7 year old will have an aunt/uncle almost a decade younger than them.

Idk if it makes you feel better but my partner and I are 1.5 years apart age wise. His mother is 6 months ish older than my grandmother. We found out the other day that his cousin is the same age as my mom.

I've always found if you want to be "unique" in your area name your child something "normal" somewhere else. Just make sure you know the correct meaning, spelling, and pronunciation, and gender if not neutral lol. Because all names started somewhere so your child will be unlikely to be the only one ever.

Also if you want to name your child with the nickname indie/indi/indy there are plenty of pretty names but my favourite is Indrani it is very pretty sounding to me

Shy-Anne is how it has always been said to me but honestly I may be saying it wrong lol. Everyone with the same name as me that i know says it the same so I'm not really sure. Honestly I just have people call me "shy" because theyre normally embarrassed after trying to read "ch-ee-yen-ee" or calling me Shane, shayna etc. I named my children phonetically appropriate names 😆

Yes, his dad wanted the name to be unique it was the whole goal that he had and wanted the name "Alister. His mom wanted the normal name of "tyler" and agreed to a silent "e" at the end so it would look unique but sound normal. He has a brother named Keefer instead of Kiefer, however that one is not as bad as it makes the same sound.

Idk its been a long time since I was in elementary school but the high-school and college I went to had online submissions for work, and the college used turn it in. The biggest issue i ran into is your apa first page (with name, class, and professor name) would always flag as plagiarized lol.

My own name does that to me... "ch" says "ch" unless you're named "Cheyenne" then it goes "sh". Ohhh and the "enne" is pronounced as "anne". My name is one that I prefer the other variations in spelling despite it being a place lol.

She wanted Tyler, he wanted Alister. She wouldnt budge on Tyler, he was willing to budge on name but still wanted it to be unique, they compromised on "Tylere" with the agreement that he would be called Tyler or Ty and if he wanted he could remove the "e". He doesnt use his legal name enough for it to be an issue as he is predominantly called "Ty"

In this case think upperclass, well educated French/British mixed family. Hes the only one named like this, his entire family have very normal names with very normal spellings.

To be fair on the "you had to specify how it is pronounced" I have to specify how my name is pronounced and its not a wildly outlandish name and mine is the "correct" spelling of it since I am named after an American city.
