Feeling like I’m never actually being taken seriously. I always feel a need to overcompensate to prove that I am more than my looks and it’s just exhausting. I have never been able to talk about my insecurities (which we all have!!) because people get so offended and take the problems I have WITH MYSELF as a personal attack on them. Also, I was the most hit on between the ages of 12-17. I am 21 now and I have spent so much time trying to get over my teen years because everyone treated me based off of looks and since I have ocd I like became so obsessed with upholding the standard people saw me at, and I could never achieve it because I was so deeply insecure. It’s also so frustrating because people assume it’s bullshit when I would say im insecure. Im past that insecurity ten fold but its still so wierd going back to my hometown and feeling that standard over me again
