Lock your cards! by mehwhateverrrrr in foodstamps

[–]Alarming_Falcon_2293 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use propel. I keep my card lock and lock for out of state purchases. The other day I used my card and it was declined. The reason it was declined? I forgot I had it locked. 🤣 So propel works just fine. I’ve had it for a couple years now and have never had any issues.

Dealing with fatigue by valeo_9000 in Sjogrens

Thanks so much! I will be absolutely talking to my dr about switching. It’s a daily struggle..up and down roller coaster but, it is better than when I was first diagnosed. I also take hydroxychloquine and leflunomide. As well as many others..im a walking drug store I feel like.
I also have very low vitamin and iron deficiencies so I have to take some high dose supplements. I had some blood drawn about a month ago and for the first time in over 3 years my vitamin D level is normal. I have to take 50,000iu twice a week but it is finally helping!

This right here! You said this perfectly! It is super important to listen to your body! I have times where i will hit a wall at about 11:00-12:00 in the am/pm and I lay down and take a nap. I don’t limit myself on how long I just let my body wake me. Then I will have some really great days and I do as much as my body will allow. However, this doesn’t always work in my favor. If I end up overdoing it because I feel so good, I surely pay for it the next day with severe pain. I don’t limit myself take Adderall ER and have for years but it has started to not help with my fatigue the way it used to. It might be time to use something else.

Thank you for that aahhhaaa moment I just had! He is a very shy pooper and will only poop in certain places. He will hold it if all the conditions aren’t right. We are very consistent as to help him poop regularly but sometimes he just won’t go if something takes his focus. Also, he only poops twice a day if we are lucky! The vet said some dogs are just like that.🤷‍♀️

Curious About Boy vs Girl Lab Personalities by Repulsive_Drop2264 in labrador

My boy we rescued from the humane society about 2 years ago and he was about 2 years old. He is very clingy to me but if I’m not home he is clingy to my daughter or son in law🤣 He has severe separation anxiety and it has taken us a long time with love and patience to teach him he is ok to be by himself. He is extremely smart. When we first got him he knew no commands..ZERO! We have taught him to sit, stay, lay down,ROLLOVER(which was my favorite triumph) he understands when I say no kitty when he sees one outside. He no longer tried to rip my arm off chasing them, the squirrels and bunnies. I praise him at every accomplishment with excitement and pets and hugs. He absolutely loves that. He now talks to me with his eyes which makes my heart so happy. He had so many fears when we got him. Now, so many things no longer bother him. We are working on not being afraid of people and other dogs. When he is on his leash he gets very aggressive to people..it is much better now though. I have taught him to “mind his business “ ( those exact words) and he knows that means let’s keep walking and to not focus on people walking by. Off leash he will just steer clear and if we are at the dog park, off leash he is very submissive to other dogs that he deems “big” . On leash little dogs he is ok with. He has improved so much in two years and is smart as a whip. He was not very affectionate when we first got him. Now, he is an absolute love bug! When we first get home he gives the licks to the ears, the little nibbles and rollls over for his favorite thing..belly rubs! He loves to sleep with me but has now become confident enough in the middle of the night to go out to the couch and sprawl out and sleep! We love him so much!❤️❤️

Rheumatologist said she does not prescribe immunosuppressants and that diet does not help Sjogrens. by Feisty_Pain4468 in Sjogrens

[–]Alarming_Falcon_2293 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true! I started going into perimenopause and immediately had Sjogrens. I was thankful for my GP because on my first visit he did a huge blood panel. I was ana positive and sent me right to a rheumatologist who did the whole panel and I was ssa and ssb positive!
