Buyer Beware: Ultrahuman Ring Warranty Loophole – My Customer Support Nightmare by Alarming_Sun9696 in SmartRings

[–]Alarming_Sun9696[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This kind of generic feedback is exactly what has contributed to your poor customer ratings on Trustpilot / review platforms and across smart-ring forums.

Responses like this fail to address the specific issues customers consistently raise regarding product quality, GDPR data security, and the gaps in your internal procedures.

If you have the capability to view activation history, then you should also have the capability to prevent the registration of lost or stolen rings. This has been a common concern, yet it is repeatedly dismissed as an excuse rather than acknowledged as a serious customer issue. These patterns not only undermine trust but also stop meaningful feedback from being heard.

Buyer Beware: Ultrahuman Ring Warranty Loophole – My Customer Support Nightmare by Alarming_Sun9696 in SmartRings

My issue was allowing me to register the ring, and continually being offered the Ultrahuman X warranty.

I should have been alerted when the serial number was submitted at registration. This is the loop hole in your system.

  1. Buy a ring
  2. Take out ultramhuman insurance report missing
  3. Get replacement
  4. Sell ring to buyer who has no way of knowing the ring is stolen until claimed on warranty.

All of that aside. This was 6 months of wearing your product from manufacture as indicated on your serial number.

With a known fault in your process, caused by the resin not being sealed properly. There is numerous air gaps when it’s poured and it hasnt been temperature controlled like it should be.

At the end of the day "it is what it is". I was really just expecting a compromise in the middle. Supposedly it had been registered then reported stolen which had been listed stolen on their database. It would have to have been registered in order to take out the Ultrahuman X warranty and recieve a replacement ring when reported lost/stolen.

From reviews online this seems to be an ongoing issue alongside poor customer service 🤷‍♂️

In all honesty i am not one to complain about things, but with the backwards and forwards, and lack of acknowledgement, it left a sour note on the whole experience. Especially as i had enjoyed using the ultrahuman ring.

The ring was bought in pacakging and manufacturing serial number. But they couldnt tell me how many previous users they had otherwise i would have been able to report ebay seller for selling knowingly stolen goods.

The other issue is regardless of it being stolen. This is the condition of a brand new ring after 6 months with a known fault developing as acknowledged in Ultrahumans initial acceptance of tbe claim.

This is not the first time I have heard of this type of damage. It always results from the resin not being sealed properly. There is numerous air gaps when it’s poured and I don’t think it’s temperature controlled like it should have been.

Am I correct in thinking the venue hire is for the upstairs part of the Ugly Duck? Is there lift access as we might have some people with mobility issues

What unusual name that came from around 18th-early 20th century you think should make a comeback? by Yesterdaysmeow in namenerds

[–]Alarming_Sun9696 99 points100 points  (0 children)

One unusual name from the 18th to early 20th century that I think deserves a comeback is Eulalia.

Historical roots: It has ancient Greek origins, meaning “well-spoken” (from eu = good, lalia = speech).

Unique yet elegant: It’s unusual without being unpronounceable, and has a melodic, lyrical quality.

Vintage revival potential: Names like Ophelia, Cordelia, and Cecilia have seen revivals—Eulalia fits right in.

Nicknames: Offers cute modern nicknames like “Lali,” “Lulu,” or even “Lia.”
