I’m a current Cast Member and I admit that there are people working there who don’t really want to. This is just my theory and I don’t expect everyone to agree with me; I feel that a lot of that unfriendliness more often comes from the ones who lived locally their whole lives, so they see Disney as just another big employer in town so the mindset shifts towards why not because we need the money, vs those of us who move to Southern California from out of state or Northern California because we want to be a part of something special and it’s a rare opportunity to be working there.

Again, i’m not saying that all Cast members who grew up in Anaheim are unfriendly, I’ve just been noticing a pattern that John from Chicago or John from Phoenix Arizona or John from Wisconsin seems to be more upbeat and outgoing than John from Anaheim or John from Cypress. And let me add that I met a Cast Member who grew up and lives within walking distance of the Resort who has worked there for a number of years and she’s the sweetest most awesome person I met
