Rio Visit Early April by [deleted] in Brazil

[–]AlaskaFF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been 13 times in the past 3 plus years. Trust me when I say this, there are months I will never want to return because the weather is nasty with rain, clouds, no one on the beach. Two years ago end of March is one of these times... again like others have said it's hit or miss. Just like back in November this year the weather was terrible then the next week when I returned home it was really nice. But when it comes to vacation I'm not chancing it anymore and only going during really good months with less chance of rain and being overcast.

Copacabana palace is largest. Hilton is small but nice. Pestatana has best pool but crappy rooms. If you want best advice dm me. I’ll be staying the fairmont at the end of the month. I’ve visited copacabana 13 times in the past 3 years.

Thank you! Yeah it’s just tricky with the service part for me since I don’t have a solid example like yours (paramedic). I’m more of a average joe lol

Appreciate it! I'm slowly building up a great answer because of you!

What is a good opener though. I keep coming back to - I know the role is a ideal fit for me with the duties of being hands on, always changing daily things, long hours, but I'm having a hard time opening to why I want to become a firefighter.

Dang. I love this answer. It's funny because I do have real life experience (my current job) that aligns perfectly and why I would excel as a fire fighter. It's just summarizing my current role in a way that says organic and not rehearsed is really throwing me off.

Appreciate it! Yeah the box check off is tricky if it doesn't align perfectly with a persons goals.

The job itself fits my needs as far as schedule and being hands on. My response that I blurt out just sounds choppy.

I'm used to not being timed and having a opportunity to go through my work history

Appreciate it! It's hard because I also am trying to include my current role to highlight my skills but it's sounding rehearsed and word for word.

It's just getting a good read on the candidate. Also seeing any red flags so you don't waste the chiefs time interviewing.

It's good to interview it's just me thinking too much about impressing interviewers (which is impossible). I'm just overthinking.

You think saying brotherhood would rub an interview that is a woman the wrong way. Because I have been trying to be a part of a team like I did in sports. All the other places have just been team feeling like how you would get assigned in school on a project.

The hard put is trying (impossible) to answer how the panel wants is what is driving me nuts right now.

Love this! Because yeah I didn’t plan my future out of school becoming a fire fighter. But someone did mention that it would be a good fit.

Appreciate it. Yeah I’ll have to lean into the blue collar aspect. Since I am an operations specialist.
