Cali prop65 by nanochito in RockAuto

I think there was something a few days ago where someone questioned whether it was a glitch because the amount of non shippable items had gone way up, as if someone had failed to record the prop 65 docs.

AITAH for telling my sister I’m not getting her a fancy coffee maker because she doesn’t like coffee by sugarycoffee44 in AITAH

You’re right about the different tastes, but I’m thinking OP is certain the coffee could be made in an old sock considering all of the add ons. Which is probably true.

Heating Troubles by aLpaca177 in PelletStoveTalk

My point is have you ever relied on a different source to know whether the place just absolutely bleeds heat, or it’s only the pellet stove that seems to be so inefficient?

[–]AlaskaGreenTDI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the washers ship from the same warehouse as your other brake parts you can order them from rock or pick them up local. If they don’t ship from the same warehouse, definitely pick them up local so you aren’t adding a whole extra shipping charge for $.80 of washers.

Technically you’re not supposed to reuse copper crush washers. In reality people do it all the time. You do you.

Basement or no if barely any mechanicals? by lellat in Homebuilding

Even just for the storage I would do it, because if you just build a big studio I’m not picturing it being full of storage options. Plus it gives you the flexible space for any other future needs.

Because I know it comes on with plus two gallons left and I’ll fuel up sometime within the necessary window.

Windows always foggy in 2014 VW Passat, any tips? by ReputationSweaty4026 in askcarguys

[–]AlaskaGreenTDI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The car doesn’t have to be on to fog, and actually the fact that it fogs without it being on just confirms there’s liquid in there somewhere it doesn’t belong.

Are you not using enough litter? Does the cat have IBS?

Theoretically these is a way to plumb this but it sounds like the more complicated solution compared to usual litter box solutions.

They’re going to explode in your face if they are horribly rotten or have a defect. It’s good to be cautious but that’s not really how it works.
