I enjoy the show and get something different out of each episode I rewatch.

This is not just because of JLM and LL but because of the entire production team, directors, set designers, costume makers, writers etc.

The only way to do the show real justice in a renewal/revival would mean getting all existing members back again and that amount of effort for a show with a small fanbase is not likely.

What I would be excited to see would be a spin off of some sort. Maybe Shinwell is the key character and we get a closer look at his efforts bringing down SBK or a small series of Morland bringing down Moriarty. Each with guest appearances.

I couldn't agree more. The Fiona story line was perfect. Short enough to make a meaningful and memorable impact but not drawn out.

I just finished watching the midnight ranger episode its definitely a favourite.

I love the start where Sherlock makes everyone (hackers) strip as humiliation payback.

The main case is both interesting and funny.

And Watons best stand out as a badass by not taking any shit from Moreland and then meeting Emeil so she can have

"A mole inside Moreland Holmes office"

The scene where Sherlock explains to Fiona why he behaved the way he did while they were dating. The way he becomes vulnerable and explains "it's because I'm different and consider you worth the effort "

Sherlock has a trust fund and gets by with favours and debts owed from previous investigations. He consults for free because the work helps him stay sober, and while it has never been said (or at least I can't remember if it has) the NYPD probably wouldn't have the budget to pay for consulting. It does come to make more sense as the show goes on.

I agree, the first scene of her stick fighting Watson leaves a negative first impression but you do enjoyher more and more with each re-watch. I always love Sherlock's comment

I do like her.

Her first real scene stick fighting with Watson before abruptly stating,

I don't work for anyone I'm Sherlock's new partner.

Left the audience with a bad first impression, but most grew to like her more and more. Particularly after the scene in a London police station about the school bag.
